It's unfortunate reading some of the other reviews, for our own experience was thoroughly pleasant. The owners were helpful and attentive and the rooms in this quiet retreat were very comfortable. Swakopmund is not exactly a budget resort, but the Secret Garden was very good value. The Bistro was a great place to eat. We'd stay there again any time. More

Guesthouse is an ok place to stay, but I would not come back again. They claim to have the best pizza in town, but we found it not very good. There were ants in the bathroom, so we could not really put anything standing on the wash basin counter. We found the staff very unfriendly, they try to regulate you. More
