The rooms in this guest house are theme based via the wall paper and the manager is extremely personable. She spent time with each guest over breakfast to make sure we had our questions answered and were set to go. She made us feel very welcome and taken care of. The guesthouse is divided and we were away from the... More

Most probably one of the better hotels in Swakopmund. Ideal hotel to discover Swakopmund and Walvis Bay. Personally prefer the lodges, but since this is a must-see area when visiting Namibia, I would still recommend this place. Good European-style breakfast. Misses the wow-factor which find at many good lodges in this country.

Old colonial hotel with a beautiful inner garden. Rooms are spacey, staff is friendly. Breakfast is standard like a European 3 star hotel. They offer tea and instant coffee, but you can also ask for capuccino. Not far away from main shopping area.

I stayed 2 nights at this hotel... a beautiful building, not too far from beach, restaurants, shops (Swakopsmund is easy and quickly discovered during a stroll through the neighborhood). Room was spacious, we only had breakfast at the hotel and opted to make reservations for dinner somewhere else. Staff, compared to all the smiles at the lodges seemed very stiff... More

A very nice property; well-maintained; friendly and helpful staff, and a most excellent and complete included breakfast. Interesting architecturally as well; a former railroad station. The rooms were very comfortable, and the lobby area and the outdoor pool and surrounding comfortable lounge chairs very alluring.

As part of a 2 week tour of Namibia my wife and I spent 2 very comfortable nights in this hotel. It is a most interesting building built around a central courtyard. Our room was very pleasant, the restaurant was very good and the service excellent. It is not in the centre of town and it is not on the... More

Even though this hotel is a few blocks from the beach, it is a pleasant walk down there, and the downtown area is equally close. The grounds and common rooms are lovely, and the rooms are well decorated and cozy. Our room overlooking the pool area was delightful.

A lovely hotel with great courtesy shown by the staff. A very warm welcome was made with drinks and the facilities were very good. The rooms are clean and spacious. All issues (despite triviality) were dealt with perfectly. Highly recommended.

Comfortable and relaxing, good food, and great service. We stayed there in Aug and we really enjoyed it. Rooms were spacious, bathrooms too. My room was on the outside and just above the delivery bay, which was fairly noisy during the day, but quiet at night. Rooms on the inside with view onto the pool and garden were quiet all... More

Really bit worth the money. It is not located in the centre of town and you need to walk a few blocks to find all the shops and cafés that make Swakopmund special. While the building itself is nice, service and food is much better at Hansa Hotel, where you can stay for half the price. Also note that the... More
