Great place to stay in Swakop. Very friendly owner Jean who was always willing to help, even down to assisting me book an appointment for an unexpected dental problem. Room was a good size and the bathroom big and spacious. Linen crisp and room v. clean. Many small little touches that just made it that extra special. Breakfast was scrummy... More

My girlfriend and I needed a couple of days to escape from our roadtrip/camping efforts and what better place to find than Sandfields. The room was immaculate, with very high quality linen, beautiful bathroom and filter coffee and biscuits - lovely to come back to in the mid afternoon cool. Breakfast is also very good - the hotel was quiet... More

Sandfields is a small guesthouse situated in a quiet residential area. The welcome it gives to guests and the care it shows for them is exemplary. Our room was very comfortable and spacious with a ceiling fan and it fronted the small garden. The en-suite had a full size bath and a shower. The in room tea and coffee tray... More

Sandfields is located in a quiet residential area about 15 minutes walk from the centre of Swakopmund. Our room was clean and spacious, with a coffee/tea station and homemade cookies located just outside our door, shared between two rooms. Breakfasts were good, and there is a nice shared living area with a fireplace, plenty of books and an honesty bar.... More

I am sure we were not the most desirable guests as we last minute cancelled our first night to visit the namib desert, arriving one day later without notifying at what time. Nevertheless we were warmly welcomed. We asked for a baby cot which was there but it was somewhat small even though our daughter woud have fitted in it.... More

Swakopmund was a brilliant place which we wished we had spent more time in. We pre booked one night here prior to our self drive safari and Richard kindly offered to take us to Crossroads car hire in the town after breakfast. Wonderful room, superb breakfast, quality bed linen, safe & secure, and above all a warm welcome by the... More

We had a lovely two night stay. Our only problem was transportation as the guest house is not in the town center. We walked twice (about twenty minutes from the lighthouse) but had trouble getting a taxi in the evening. If you have your own car, it would be perfect. More

It was a pitty that we could spent only one night at the Sandfields guesthouse. The owners gave us a very warm welcom. We felt us directly at home. In the 'living room' we found a lot of books with interesting dezcriptions and pictures of Namibië. The breakfast was delicious ! It is certainly an excellent choice to stay in... More
