I visit Swakopmund on business and was surprised on the value for money and the great service that the guesthouse offers. The daily breakfast is excellent and room is very comfortable. The management & staff really go the extra mile for the guests. Well done Renate & Andrea and staff! Thank you Adriaan Crous

I'm quite a spoiled person myself, I like staying in fancy hotels such as the Hilton, Four Seasons, One&Only etc. and I would have never guessed that a bed&breakfast could offer the same comfort! The Central Guest House is more than just a brilliant B&B, it feels like home, with its beautiful wooden floors and nicely decorated rooms. The staff... More

This lovely place is central and oh so lovely. Friendly staff, beautiful breakfast and washing and ironing done if required. Wi fi available. This place is just gorgeous and only slightest criticism is the bathroom is too small. TV in rooms with tea and coffee facilities just outside the door. Highly recommend this delightful place.

Lovely welcome from Anya, beautiful room and pretty courtyard spaces. Easy walking distance to the Tug and the Jetty. The Tug was very very disappointing - expensive, terrible food and only one of their vegetarian specialities on offer - separate review. Excellent breakfast pack provided as we left at 6:45am for kayaking at Walvis Bay (highly recommended). When we did... More

Our room was very nice (although a bit small) and cosy, with an incredibly comfortable bed! In the bathroom there are toilet products of a south african brend and they are really good. Everything is sparkling clean. The breakfast is rich and with a lot of different products to choose from. You can order eggs or pancakes... and they are... More

Swakopmund itself has the charme of a time, long be gone. This small Hotel fits perfectly into this grid. The rooms are clean and the service is Friends. We got a hearty breakfast and left very satisfied.

A nice friendly welcome showed things looked good. Rooms good size, clean good bed. Fairly quiet location and easy walk into the town. If you like you can help yourself to a glass of sherry before you head out in the evening. Breakfast was delicious. If you are travelling on long distance I can recommend the packed lunch, very tasty... More

Very central in easy walking distance of the town centre and sea. A clean and comfortable stay. Helpful support with plug challenges, and good recommendation for things to see and do. Breakfast ok. Good post-stay help after we left a jacket behind by mistake.

We stayed here for two nights before our safari began. It's a lovely place - spotlessly clean and well run. The breakfast was really good. Eggs any way you want them (including poached!) and a good mix of bacon and mushrooms. Lovely food. Overall a great experience, very good location, can't fault them at all.

Lovely place to stay in Swakopmund: 1) Very good location with few minutes’ walk to town center; 2) Simplicity and perfection in every detail of interior; 3) Atmosphere of old fashion house and passionate love in the building; 4) Very nice personnel who supplement the spirit of the house.
