We walked into the pretty garden of this charming B&B to be warmly welcomed by Peter and Bettina, who immediately made recommendations and bookings for dinner, suggested places to visit and booked us on a desert tour. Our room was really lovely - fresh and very prettily-furnished - with a very nice bathroom. There was plenty of room for us... More

This is a great place to stay when visiting Swakopmund. It was booked for us by Imagine Africa who did a great job in having good venues up their sleeves. First impressions were very good when we were met by the friendly and efficient Robyn at reception. Margo and Peter have got all the right bits of the formula to... More

We were a family of four and actually stayed at one of their apartments right on the seafront , which was excellent -An der Mole . Beautifully furnished with fresh , clean and modern fittings . Nice linen also. Breakfast was served at the guesthouse which was lovely . Peter and his team were incredibly helpful and I would recommend... More

With my wife, daughter and her partner we stayed at Cornerstone for 2 nights earlier this month. After a 23 day tour of Namibia and Botswana this was by far the best B & B we stayed at. Peter is an excellent host and was able to attend to so many matters for us. We travel the world for 3... More

Thank you to Peter and his diligent staff for making our stay very comfortable and welcoming. Excellent service and supplied us with a mobile phone in case we needed help or advice. Steered us towards some good eating places and some tourist attractions within the town area. We loved the water colour paintings exhibited throughout the premises and bought a... More

Traveling on an overland trip, with the sands of Sossusviei behind us and our tents packed up - we arrived at the Cornerstone to absolute luxury and comfort. The grounds were beautiful, Peter our host was gracious. A 5 star breakfast and dining area. A great launch into Swakopmund, an easy walk to all the city's attractions. The cornerstone became... Our only experience of a "town" stay in Namibia. Peter was a charming host and makes an excellent breakfast. He was also very helpful with regard to the many activities in the area and our onward travel. Definitely recommended.

4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 26, 2014

My wife and I stayed two nights in July 2014, having driven up from Sossusvlei. The room was clean and comfortable and looked out on to a beautifully kept garden area, which we could enjoy thanks to the table and chairs in the porch way. The bathroom had a large shower and the room itself was well-equipped. Breakfast was excellent... More

Very welcoming with the beautiful garden and lovely fresh, clean room ( with a double bed!) Robyn, in reception, was delightful & so helpful. We left our dirty laundry on the bed and came back from our excursion to find it washed, ironed and folded and ready to pack away, so appreciated. Enjoyed our breakfasts too. Would definitely stay here... More

This is the best B&B we have ever come across. Receptionist Robyn gave us a warm welcome, l advised us on restaurants and even booked us a table. Our room was large, well-equipped and clean. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom was massive with a bath, a shower and his and hers basins! We had a sitting area outside. Wifi... More
