Quite the worst hotel I have stayed in in a long while. The air con in the rooms did not work and the internet service was pathetic. It is living proof that a monopoly of provision with no competition and plenty of demand(oil/gas) is a killer on quality. Avoid if at all possible especially bearing in mind that you are... More

I have stayed at the Pemba Beach Hotel a few times for business, Pemba doesn't have many accommodation options and I have no choice over the booking. The service in this place is not great and it is in need of some maintenance, the aircons rarely work, the rooms smell of damp, the tv's often don't work, the internet is... More

I have stayed in this beach resort this month and found it surprisingly amazing and beautiful. plenty of rooms and apartments. exterior Arabic style and interior European style, wt a combination. four swimming pools , all were neat, clean and quite a big. club navel restaurant , bar and other restaurants in resort are good. dont forget to try sea... We ended up staying here accidentally, because the weather made it impossible for the small plane to fly from pemba to the island off mozambique where we planned to spend a week. But it turned out to be a super stopping place, very quiet, lovely buildings, yummy food and a GYM! the only downside is that the english of the... More

The pros : nice construction with North African style , beachfront location The cons : reception staff still extremely slow whether for check in or check out service. Maintenance of the rooms is a major issue, in particular when it comes to bathrooms : water leaking, water infiltration, broken appliances

Near to the sea, vast loan areas, rooms are not luxury but ok, food manageable, but compare to other hotels in pemba it is best. Good Ambiance, seaside location, pool near beach is good. service is ok while compare to other hotels in Pemba, coast is high but in Pemba everything is expensive. I stayed here 5 days in a... More

Considering you travel all the way to North Mozambique to the port city of Pemba, the hotel is a sanctuary within the city to relax and recover from meetings and other businesses done in Pemba. The newly renovated Club Naval restaurant is excellent with a great selection of real quality food. Service was friendly.

We only spent one night here before we left on a week fishing trip on a live-aboard. It was beautiful, polite staff, clean and just what the doctor ordered. I could have spent a holiday there if you enjoy staying in the confines of hotel itself. Pemba itself was dirty with little attraction but if you choose to lie by... More

We crew changed via this hotel and had lunch in the restaurant. Not too impressive when it came to food. Hotel itself is pretty nice and even though the rooms are not hypermodern they are OK with AC and hot and cold water. Very nice to sit outside in the restaurant with view to the swimming pool and sea. Nice... More

compared to many of the other hotels I have stayed in recently, this one is definitely one of the nicer ones and I cannot share the poor ratings/experiences other travellers have made. However, I must state that I was here on business and not on vacation and therefore my expectations and views may differ from those who have been here... More
