We stayed 4 nights in this Riad, the rooms are individually decorated, clean and comfortable. The location isn't the easy to find on arrival, but we emailed the Riad and arranged to be met at the Supratours office by a carrier who took our cases and showed us the way. Very central to everything. Our stay was over Valentine's Day... More

We enjoyed the worm hospitality of the owner of this nice and well kept riad. After the long way from Marrakesh to Esauira and the stressing task of avoiding some annoying people offering a place were to stay just entering into the Medina of Esauira we could relax on the terrace of Riad Alech resting with a delicious maroccan meant... The incredible host (Mohamed), romantic rooms and extensive breakfast are making this Riad a place you don't want to miss. We had a great time here during NYE. The host cooked a traditional diner, invited a live berber music performance and hired a calligrapher to write our names as a special memory. It's a small Riad that I can highly... More

The building and all the rooms were saw inside it were of a high quality, nicely decorated and kept very clean. Considering there are only 3 bedrooms the inside and rooftop communal areas offer ample space to relax. The main thoroughfares and sights of the medina are all within 5 minutes walk. The staff were very friendly. If we were... More

I'm only giving this riad a good rating because of the staff that work their. Boushra; the housekeeper (moroccan girl), was amazingly friendly and attentive, and was able to interact well despite her limited English. She made us feel welcome and at home, and I felt sorry for her climbing up and down the stairs every morning for breakfast! The... More

During an official tour of my father in the city we stayed here for three nights. Everything is superb here. The décor of the building, rooms, breakfast, the hospitality of the staff and everything really impressed me. Property is very clean and intelligently designed. I spent a great time here with my mother and really enjoyed a lot. I will... More

Riad Alech was an absolutely wonderful experience. We were only going to stay two nights in Essaouira but ended up staying four because this place was so great. The owners are super friendly and patient and they helped us with all our questions and showed us all the best hole-in-the-wall places to eat in town that the locals visit. They... More

Very friendly hosts and staff, great breakfast, pleasantly decorated rooms - this is a reasonable and lovely place to stay in the medina. The hosts were extremely informative and helped us book our stay in the next town that we were visiting. We stayed in the suite on the second floor, bathroom in the room and a small sitting room.... We arrived in Essaouira, after a three hour bus ride from Marrakech, and were met by a young boy with a wheelbarrow who transported our bags to the Riad. We paid him the equivalent of $5 US, which was probably more than usual by his reaction, but thank goodness he knew where he was going because it is not an... More
