I just spent 2 lovely nights at Le Vent des Dunes and was very impressed. I chose the hotel as it is one of few places that will accept domestic pets and the dog had to come with me on this trip! The room (No. 5) was at the side of the house and had lots of sunlight and a... More

Shared one of the triple rooms with friends. The room was spacious and clean and the hotel in general was great. It has a really lovely roof terrace where they serve very good breakfast and where you can sit in peace and quiet in the evenings. A little bit out the way of the town but still within walking distance... More

I arrived here with my partner having spent a stressful few days in an apartment. I can honestly say this has been my best experience in an Essaouira hotel. We were greeted by the friendliest receptionist in Morocco !! Possibly the world !! Safa is bursting with enthusiasm and clearly loves her work. She has a real passion for the... More

I'm still there now and enjoying every single minutes . I will leave Monday for Marakesh but before I had to write this review . This hotel is a top one although i have to say the breakfast was very poor. A special thank goes to Safa for her kindness and professional standard of service. She is a very good... More

The house is beautiful, it has nice, clean and comfortable rooms. Delicious breakfast every morning, served on the roof terrace. Friendly staff, good service. The atmosphere is very relaxed. It is not close to the medina, but a nice walk (20 min or so). Me and my boyfriend really enjoyed our stay here, and would recommend this place if you're... More

Me and my boyfriend were actually staying in Marrakech for one week, and decided to go to Essaouira for 1 night, and when we arrived to the Hotel, we realised we didn't have our Money with us (we forgot it in Marakech), we didn't have a Credit Card either, so we didn't know what to do. Khadija the receptionist was... More

We stayed for 4 nights in April and were very happy that although the hotel was full, it was nice and quiet. Young lady on reception was very nice and polite, always had a smile and a greeting. The female receptionist was also helpful with transport advice. Breakfast hit the spot, served every morning on the roof terrace. Would definately... More

I chose the Dunes for my last trip to Essaouira having previously stayed in the busy Medina. I found it an excellent choice away from the bustle of the historic quarter. The rooms are clean and comfortable, the breakfasts on the sunny roof terrace are ample, and the walk into the town along the sandy beach is a wonderful start... More

Pretty rooms, lovely rooftop terrace where breakfast was served. It's in a really quiet residential neighbourhood. The walk to the medina took us 25 minutes but we enjoyed strolling along the beach anyway. Staff were really friendly and hospitable, although the owner was a little stern!

Thank you very much for your review. We will pass on your comment to the team. We are sorry that it was not clear enough that we were 2 minute walk away from the beach and 20 from the busy medina. As you said it is a nice walk and we advice customers who do not want to walk to... More
