We stayed here for 2 nights at the end of a trip to Morocco and wished we could have stayed longer! The location is great, really easy to find which was helpful for us as we arrived late and in the dark. Our room was very large and well equipped with everything down to hot water bottles! Breakfast is served... More

A very happy stay and we thought the riad was perfect. Sue Hunt was excellent, friendly and quick to respond to phonecalls, giving us tips on all the good places to visit and eat. The rooms were clean and had plenty of Morrocan charm. We loved the roof terrace and being able to have breakfast up there. My only recommendations... More

Thanks so much for the lovely write-up and I fully understand your comment re 'the sheets', which are new, and,( I was told), were 100% cotton ...but, yeh .. I, too, have the same ones, and I, too, am disappointed! Point taken...and I will certainly begin to 'phase them out'. Just to say that we actually do have portable reading... More

Lunetoile is a gorgeous, intimate b&b operating out of a centuries-old riad in the medina, where it borders the mellah (Jewish district). There are just two rooms on each floor and all are simply but tastefully decorated with traditional rugs etc and framed paintings/photos of local scenes, as are the common stairwells and 'lounge'. The owner/host is Sue, who speaks... More

We stayed in the apartment at Lunetoile during the music festival this summer. Lunetolie is beautifully furnished, the staff very welcoming & friendly - they were very encouraging with my very rusty schoolgirl french! The apartment at the top of the building was just what we wanted - enough space to "charge our batteries" before the evening festivities & breakfast... More

The arrival was without problem. We were greeted by staff from the riad within 10mins of contact at the bus station. The riad was near Mellah part of the medina and at night it didn;t feel very safe by intuition although we got no problem returning around 10-11pm at night. The place was nicely decorated in a moon and stars... More

Hi - I am the owner of Lunetoile in Essaouira, and would like to respond to the latest review which I find terribly unfair and unjust. The gentleman from Hong Kong/ China, stayed with us for 1 night, in room 3, as he correctly stated. We pride ourselves in running a very clean and charming and friendly guest-house, with daily...
