This riad is located right in the heart of Essaouira. It's funky cool as well as friendly. Why is it a good choice in Essaouria? The rooms are enormous and have character. The hosts are great. They are a father - son team Australians of Moroccan heritage. They have done a magnificent job of making guests feel right at home... More

There was a really nice vibe about this place. The communal area was well set up and a comfortable place for a few catch up drinks with fellow travellers. The terrace where breakfast was served was lovely. Our room was big and spacious and all the artwork on the walls gave the room real character. The central location right inside... More

We are a couple in our twenties from New York that traveled to Morocco for the first time for 2 weeks in November. We are seasoned travelers and found Dar Afram to be the most relaxed, charming place we stayed at. In fact, we were supposed to stop over for one night but really fell in love with the vibe,... Lovely staff, lovely vibes, lovely tunes. I would recommend this place to anybody who wants to relax, unwind and listen to good music with awesome people. Very clean compared to any other hostels I've been to!

We were in Morocco for 2 weeks and Dar Afram was the best played I stayed in. The Riad is stylish and original at the same time and the staff are friendly and welcoming. Walking into Dar Afram almost feels like walking into your own house.

Riad dar Afram was the best place we stayed at during our 9-day holiday in Morocco. The room was nice, big and clean. We were welcomed by the hosts who were nice, friendly and welcoming throughout our stay. On the first evening we had a lovely dinner in the riad, followed by live music. Breakfast on the terrace was nice,... More

This place is wonderfully decorated throughout, with a lovely terrace, nice rooms and ample common areas. The friendly staff frequently treats the guests to singing and guitar (their own songs, even).

Dar Afram is alive with conversation, laughter, good music and food. It was the only Riad I stayed in in Morocco that always had hot water too! On a serious note, the place is very welcoming with beautiful decor and a warm atmosphere. From my experience it seems to attract a great bunch of people and makes essaouria an even... More

Dar Afram is a good experience. Nice atmosphere, very friendly hosts that make you feel at home. Fine and clean rooms. Private showers. Big terrace at the top of the building, with a view to the sea. We had planned to stay there 3 nights. But we ended up spending 7 nights and all the vaccation in Dar Afram Essauria.... More
