This is a beautiful Riad right in the centre of the hustle and bustle of the Medina, but as soon as you enter through the beautiful wooden doors and are greeted by the extremely professional staff who cannot make anyone feel more welcome you are in another world. A world of calm and beautiful smells this is the start of... More

The riad is situated easily accesible just 150m after the gate (Bab Marrakech). You do not need a luggage carrier! The staff is extremely helpful and kind and the rooms are beautiful. Breakfast and dinner is served on the roof terrass or downstairs depending on weather and temperatures. We had a delightful chicken tagine on arrival and enjoyed a hammam... More

Having toured the Imperial Cities of Morocco we planned our trip to end in Essaouira to unwind from the hectic travelling. We spent the final four days at Casa Lila - and it was superb from the minute we entered the reception until our final goodbyes. Essaouira is a relaxing location - but when you add on the calm ambience... More

Casa Lila is a perfect oasis in the busy streets of the Medina in Essaouira. Its beautiful, with lovely decor, and its very comfortable with fantastic staff. We really enjoyed our break away from the winter blues there and the Hammam and Spa too. Our traditional meal was delicious, and we got great advise on where to visit and which... More

We stayed over Christmas at Casa Lila and were a little sad when we left after 4 days. This riad is just gorgeous and even though in the heart of the Medina, it was so unbelievably peaceful, yet just perfect in every way! The staff were the friendliest and most animated we had during our time in Morocco. The owners... More

We (partner, nine-year-old child, and me) stayed at Casa Lila for two nights. It is absolutely gorgeously-decorated and our room (Ivoire) was no exception. It is also very central, but we heard no noise at all in our room. Best points: the beautiful decor, including a lovely bath, the lovely terrace for breakfast, and the central location. Only niggles: our... More

We stayed as a group of girlfriends in this Riad for 3 nights and you cannot fault anything. We have been amazingly greeted by the owners Fanfan and Michel who sorted us a great deal of trouble when we decided to go for x2 rooms instead of the big suite apartment. That flexibility has been greatly appreciated! Each Riad is... More

This beautiful Riad is right at the main gate of the Medina, good locations for food, shops & transportation links. The staff were extremely attentive & welcoming; always willing to help & to assist you with any query. The rooms were beautifully decorated & with individual motives; very clean & charming. Would definitely suit any type of traveller: couples &... More

We were looking so forward to having a bath when we arrived in Essaouira given that we had felt chilled during our entire time in Morocco . . . chilled but so blessed to be experiencing such an amazing country. Our room here in Casa Lila had a bathtub and it was made of beautiful glazed concrete (I believe). Our... More
