The Dar l'Oussia is well situated in Essaouria. The reception staff were helpful. We had a junior suite which was an impressive large room with a lovely draped four poster bed. However - the floor was gritty and the room wasn't clean. the room was next to the street and there was a lot of noise until 4am which kept... More

Large center courtyard with plants, 4 stories and terrace, no elevator. Comfortable, spacious room with 2 small windows looking out to the courtyard (room 34). Pleasant staff. Hotel restaurant. Seagulls circling above the terrace with views of the ocean and beach. Breakfast was average for a riad. Very convenient location between Orson Welles Square and Avenue du Caire.

A group of us used this riad for room space, but some of us used the restaurant as well. I would recommend this riad for the location, close to the hustle and bustle of the harbour and fish restaurants, and near to the souks and street cafes. The staff are so helpful and friendly, and it looks grand and welcoming.

This hotel was a secret TREASURE! There were very few people staying there. The hotel was SO beautiful, gorgeous grand decor. The room was very large and again so elegant. In contrast to the usual holidays we have everything was seamless from the meeter and greeter at the door to the little old cleaning ladies that did a fantastic job.... More

This was one of the least impressive Riads we stayed in during 14 nights in Morocco. The public areas were lovely, especially the rooftop area where we enjoyed breakfast each day. Our room was quite dark and stuffy (no fan), unless you opened the windows onto the walkway outside every room. this of course would allow anyone going by to... More

This riad really is the most welcoming and beautiful place we have stayed. The staff are friendly and welcoming and really can't do enough for you. it is situated in the medina in a perfect location close to both the souks, beach and harbour. the room was light and comfortable.

My husband & I stayed here after switching our original booking due to building works at the first riad. We found it by chance walking into the medina. This beautiful riad on the larger side than we had stayed in Marrakech was perfect for us. We were updated to larger room after the first night, ate great food in the... More

This Riad is really beautiful, the style is a good mix between authentic/local decoration and modern touch. It offers a quiet and comfortable atmosphere and very good service. It was just perfect, elegant and simple, you don´t feel overwhelmed with the Decor and colors...Yves the owner did great job with this hotel and his staff are very friendly and helpful... More

Spent 2 nights in this beautiful Riad. Can't fault it. The staff were so friendly, our room was fantastic, great buffet breakfast on the terrace with stunning views out to sea. Would definitely stay here again. Loved our stay and we were sad to leave. Highly recommended

Dar L´Oussia seems amazing at first sight, a nice, little Riad, amazing rooms, breakfast at roof terrace is an unique experience. The location is amazing too, just at the entrance to Medina, 5 minutes walk from the beach. Nevertheless later you start to see the dirt under the bed and on the floor, you need to wait one hour for... More
