Riad Watier was a fantastic experience. It is run with care and love by Jean Gabriel and his wonderful Maroccan staff in a wonderful friendly and relaxed atmosphere. The hotel is packed with wonderful work from the Essaouira arty community The rooms are beautiful and it is a haven of peace. Can't recommend it enough. more

Easily deserves its reputation as the best place to stay in town. Jean Gabriel was a warm and generous host, the room was excellent and the decor superb. Was there a fault? The wine may have stayed up the other end of the table too long during the evening meal. A perfect port of call. more

Stayed here for two nights and had a wonderful time. We met the owner the afternoon we arrived, but sadly he was leaving for France early the next morning.
