Riad Marosko was suggested by the owners of the Riad Safa in Marrakesh. What a great recommendation. We had a beautiful room on the second floor for only $65.00 Euros a night including breakfast which you enjoy on the rooftop terrace with wonderful city and ocean views. Marie and her husband are very warm and helpful. Marie knows the best... more

Riad Marosko is a beautiful riad in the heart of Essaouira. 5 mins from main shopping streets and restaurants, 10 mins from beach, on a quiet street, the location is ideal. The owners are friendly and really helpful - they gave us a map with all the sights and good restaurants marked. They can arrange camel and horse riding for... more

This Riad states that it can accommodate wheelchair users and is presented as such in a guide book. Yes, you can get in the door and stay on the ground floor, with a make shift bed. Showering and toilet is another thing. The door is not wide enough for a wheelchair and you will be offered a plastic chair to... more

we stayed in a blue room with 2 mezzanines, which confortably slept our family of 4. We liked the fact that the mezzanines were well separated and secluded by curtains (boys didn't annoy each other) and below the mezzanines was a mini-suite lounge. That converted to a single bed for our younger son. The bathroom was spacious with beautifull tadelak... more

we book riad marosko based on trip advisor rating. When we arrived, they tried to put us on teh second floor eventhough we had booked on the second floor. when we got to second floor room, we were surprised to see the really long ladders that reached two SEPARATE beds, each on either side of the room!!!!!!! the bathroom was... more

As everyone has already mentioned, the people that run the riad are lovely and the views from the balcony are great. Also, the breakfast was quite nice. However, spend as little time as possible in the rooms - they are musty, dark and damp. The shower sprays water everywhere and good luck if you can get any hot water. If... more

We stayed with Riad Marosko for 3 nights in November and it was an entirely enjoyable and relaxing experience. Essaouira is a wonderful place to stay in itself, but staying with Mari and Rosko made discovering Essaouira so much easier. On our arrival Mari gave us a map that she compiled herself, with recommended restaurants (these are especially good) and... more

We stayed at the Marosko for five nights this October and it was a wonderful experience. Mari and Rosko live in the Riad and take great pride in it so when you stay here you are genuinely being welcomed into their home. They are both very friendly as are all the staff here. As we stayed during Ramadam it was... more
