We arrived here after a few days in Marrakech. After a long bus journey and a couple of us having come down with a bug en route from Marrakesh left us drained and tired by the time we came through the doors of Palazzo Desdemona. The friendly welcome that we recieved immediately set us st ease and a welcoming glass... More

This was our first visit to Morocco. This hotel was ideal in setting for medina and beach. The staff were lovely and helpful. We did have to ask room though as we personally found that the 'charm' room looking out into medina was too noisy at night and moved to the room on top with a terrace. This was perfect... More

Everything inside this hotel looks the part - really rustic and authentic. Location is fabulous, just inside the walls a few steps from a fairly laid back medina (certainly compared with where we arrived from - Marrakech), and two minutes from the lovely beach. Staff lovely. The clock tower opposite (and another not too far away) chime every quarter hour... More

It's not one of the best, the room was quite clean, well decorated and all, but I didn't like the fact that the reception and dining area were in the same space, the staff were friendly, and the breakfast food was alright. The Room- As I said, it was kept clean, but I didn't have a great night sleep, as... More

We love staying here. The rooms are so beautiful and the hotel is right in the medina (the old town where the culture is). The restaurant downstairs is lovely and breakfast is plentiful and traditional. The staff will always look after you.

Very well located and easy to find within the medina. Close enough to the suprabus terminal to walk with our backpacks. The family room was huge and comfortable. Service varied from great to not really caring dependant on who was working on the desk. I found the keys to all the rooms on a table that apparently the cleaner forgot.... More

This is indeed a charming hotel in a great location unfortunately our ten day stay there was marred by a very unprofessional and unfair decision. We were offered an upgrade for an extra charge to which we agreed. After 3 nights in our upgrade room we were asked to move out for just one night to accommodate a " family... More

Great spot. Excellent location and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Our room was large and open up on a plaza, which made for great people watching. Great welcome and the nicest place we have stayed so far. The price was amazing for the quality. The terrace is probably underutilized...mainly because Essourira howls wind from about noon until midnight. But all in... More

My son had booked a nights stay at the Palazzo Desdemona online from our Riad in Marrakesh so it was a lovely surprise to find the hotel in such a great central location in this pretty seaside town. The greeting was very friendly and we were offered Moroccan tea and biscuits on arrival. The hall is spacious and adorned with... More

We regret not staying longer! The hotel is beautiful and the people working there is even better! They helped us arranging tours and also taking care of the baby! (Giving us a precious break at meal time). Great location, near from everything you want to see in the city. Very clean rooms, nice decoration. Totally recommended!
