I have visited Essaouira 3 or 4 times and each time I go back....I book into Riad Al Zahia. The staff are young and warm and friendly. We thought the staff terrific but the nature of a riad without modern ventilation or windows to the street is of course, not exactly airy. Not a bad deal but classic riad architecture needs further development to be comfortable to me. more

We just came back fro a short holiday in Morocco. Our stay in essaouira was great and the Riad Al Zahia amazing. We didn´t spect such a calm place in the middle of the medina, room was very spacefull and lightfull, richly decorated in a moroquian style with all the facilities.
