When you've had your fill of busy Marrakesh or of a hectic tour of Morocco this is the place to relax and enjoy the beautiful grounds of Riad Baoussala. This is a place to unwind out in the Moroccan countryside near Essouira.Stay halfboard. Both dinner and breakfasts are lovely, and immaculately served by Rashid.Extras include a big heated pool and evening fires in... After 4 days in the busy (and wonderful) medina of Essaouira, we came to Baoussala to spend 3 relaxing days before returning home. From the moment we opened the door to the riad we were enchanted. The property is beautiful, with its gardens and traditional moroccon houses, the swimming pool and roof terrace. The decoration of each room is really... More

We stayed here at the end of our Moroccan holiday and loved it, it was my daughters favourite place. The heated pool, where we could all swim (all the other hotels pools were too cold), the beautiful terraces and the room with all its unique furniture were just fabulous. Rashid and Leah were great hosts and Rashid was very kind... More

Maybe it's not the kind of place that everyone would love? …but to be honest I'd find it hard to think who would not love staying here... We returned yet again, fourth time, in fact we often try to book for an escape and receive a "so sorry we're all booked" reply. Congratulations once again to Dominique, Leah, Rashid and... More

My grand children, their parents and myself spent 8 very relaxing days at Christmas. The staff showed extreme kindness and did everything to make our stay enjoyable despite the sickness of the little one. They accommodated my special gluten free diet. The food was very good and abundant. Fire in every bedroom every evening was a real treat. We enjoyed... More

We had a most wonderful stay at Baoussala. We changed around our schedule so we could stay longer at Baoussala. It was a true haven of peace, tranquility and fun. We found Dominique and her staff to be unbelievably sympathetic, charming and focused on providing the best service possible. Thank you Dominique for a wonderful vacation at your Riad. Our... More

Baoussala is a wonderful oasis, with beautiful rooms & grounds. It is an intimate space that honours local tradition with modern French design. The staff are dedicated, considerate and always with a smile. Breakfast on the terrace, lunch poolside, dinner in the courtyard or by the fire and pampering treatments in the hamam mean that there is really no reason... More

This is a quiet, relaxing and beautifully chilled-out place - the perfect contrast to vibrant, hectic Marrakech. Our family spent 3 nights here in October and felt like we had come close to paradise - lovely spacious rooms, gorgeous pool and all designed to help you relax. Dominique and her team are so welcoming and friendly (without ever being annoying)... More

Bouassala receives very high tripadviser ratings, but we mark it as very good rather than excellent. The hospitality of the staff is truly excellent....Rashid looks after your every need with charm and politeness. The rooms and buildings are furnished very tastefully, if a little faded now by the Moroccan sun. We visited in November, when it is cool in the... More

The Riad Baoussala is possibly the nicest hotel I have ever stayed in - the ideal place to get a break, take a deep breath and enjoy! Beautiful buildings with charming and spacious rooms, great pool, wonderful gardens and last but not least: Incredible food!! Loved each and every meal... and felt very much at home. It's a small paradise,... More
