We stayed in Dar Liouba for 5 nights and found it immensly agreeable. It was more like staying in a large house than a Hotel. Xavier and all the team made us very very welcome and the central location gave us easy walking access to absolutely everywhere. Room was good, clean and we loved the colour scheme idea different in... more

I have mixed feelings about this place. The hotel itself was pleasant with an impressive main room and stairway – bedrooms were clean and spacious. The roof terrace was disappointing though – looked more like a building site than a place where you would want to spend any time. The location was good. Breakfasts were fine but nothing special. My... more

My daughter (32) and I stayed in Dar Liouba for our first three nights in Morocco. We arrived by taxi from Marrakech airport - a three hour drive at the end of a long trip from London. We were immediately welcomed with tea and made at home. The rooms were clean and bright, simply but prettily decorated with local textiles... more

We had a lovely stay at the Dar Liouba with our three grown up daughters. The kindness of the staff--Kamar, Xavier, and Fouad--contributed to making the start of our Moroccan trip pleasurable. The Riad is beautiful and clean, and provides a comfortable respite from the intensity of the medina. The rooms are colorful and brightly decorated. We had a fabulous... more

The hotel is based on a traditional riad, except that the 'courtyard' is enclosed and lies at the heart of an atrium running the full height of the house. There are 6 guest rooms and a suite – ours was a good size, spotlessly clean, with a comfy bed and two armchairs, and an en suite with excellent shower! The... more

We stayed for one night in the Dar Liouba. The staff were very friendly and helpful , especially considering that we just turned up without booking in advance. The rooms are lovingly decorated and impeccably clean. Our bathroom was on the small side (but perfectly acceptable), and our room didn't have a window, but that's really the only thing I... more

Our stay at Dar Liouba was a very nice one. Bridgette was a warm and welcoming hostess, offering us many suggestions and help with our onward journey. The riad is centrally located in the old town and offers a lot of charm. The room we stayed in was a bit noisy throughout the day and night, since it faced a... more

We stayed here for 2 nights after staying in the Sofitel and coming from Marrakech. It is a beautiful building - very light and airy and the owners and staff are very welcoming and helpful and speak excellent English. The location is very convenient for the souks, harbour and beach and it is easy to find. The breakfast was lovely... more

We stayed for a week and it felt like home - really welcoming and comfortable. All of the staff were friendly and happy to recommend places to visit, but not intrusive. On each floor there's a room without an external window, choose one with if you can, we stayed in Ciel, a lovely room on the second floor - all... more
