We stayed for 4 nights at this Riad and were extremely impressed by the hospitality of the hosts. Hassan was very accommodating and let us stay late into the afternoon on the day of our journey back. When you book make sure you ask for directions though, as it is almost impossible to find independently as there is no sigh... More

My husband and I stayed for 3 nights at the riad. It is conveniently situated in the medina, the staff are very friendly and the breakfast is amazing. We were given the loft studio for the first couple of nights which is light and airy, but the bathroom is a bit cramped. For our last night we were moved to... More

Hi and thanks for your post and especially regarding the team&breakfast! A part of it, we do our really best to give an entire satisfaction to our guests. You can be sure that the all house is totally secure dear friends and that a lock in the living rooms are really not necessary at all. Yours,Oliver&Hassan. More

This riad is very central and at the same time away from noisy streets. Place is welcoming and clean and you we'll be welcomed by nice and hospitable hosts who will be looking after you during your staying. We recommend it to anyone for a nice staying and an affordable and good value for money place. Thank you H!

The Riad is small and friendly. Tucked away in the old town it is like walking back in time through arches and the covered alleyway to the front door, but all up to date inside. The two staff are very considerate to your needs - offering help or having a friendly chat (Hassan has good English), and giving you space... More

This was a great find. i booked online, last minute as I tend to do when i travel. The Riad is clean and very nicely decorated. It is nicely kept and clean. Several of the rooms have a living space (the one I had did) but just be warned that the stairs which access the whole building go through each... More

My sister and I stayed here in October 2013 and had such a lovely time. We only booked this riad one night as we were staying in Essaouira for a couple of days but wish we had stayed longer! Hassan the host and the team looked after us really well and made us feel very welcome and at home. The... More

Great little Riad that had such a lovely homely feel to it and incredibly friendly and welcoming staff. Felt like we were staying at someones house, authentic Moroccan experience! Hassan met us at the bus station and arranged for our tickets back to Marrakech too. Had 3 lovely nights here in November and cannot recommend it enough. Its also just... More

My husband and I stayed here at the beginning of July. When I booked it there were only 3 reviews on Tripadvisor but I liked the sound of it and wasn't disappointed. We took the suite on the top floor and although it took 3 flights of stairs it was worth it. Yes the toilet/shower room was a little cramped... More

I loved Essaouira. Many people told me I would be bored after a day or two – I disagree. My stay in Essaouira was for 5 nights – although this was extended from 3. This was in a large part due to my experience at this riad. The most significant thing I can share is the excellent management style of... More

A family of 6, we stayed here for 6 nights in August after staying in Oliver's other riad in Marrakech. The combination worked well as all the transfers were organised in advance by Oliver and the air conditioned transport was excellent. Essaouira is a more relaxed, refreshing alternative to the big city and likewise Riad Bab is a small, intimate... More
