We took the two suites which were very good. The rooftop one had great sea views. The hotel is in the ramparts of the old medina and overlooking the ocean so great location. Eating on the roof is very windy but Essaouira is a windy place. The staff were all so helpful and charming and couldn't do enough to help.... More

Just back from a memorable weekend with friends at the Palais des Ramparts in Essaouria, which certainly has the 'wow' factor. Before our arrival a member of staff contacted me by email to see if they could be of any help, and in fact arranged for a private car to meet us at our hotel in Agadir, some three hours... More

We stayed for two nights as a break from marrakech. After the crazy hectic world of Marrakech, essouira was a relaxing retreat. We arrived on the supratours bus and the map inside the station and the screenshot on my phone got us to the hotel pretty easily it's located on a quiet street with a little shop across selling water... Has a lovely spacious room with a large bed and the biggest bath. Great view of the fortified walls and the sea. Buffet breakfast served on the large roof terrace. Fantastic views and great location, had a peaceful nights sleep. Did eat in the restaurant, would give that a miss, the food was average.

We arrived Essarouira without a booking and walked around the town before deciding. This place stood out because it was central, had the feel of a 5-star hotel, the best roof terrace in town. Oh, and they were willing to substantially cut their rates because we arrived out of season! We got a suite which was spacious and comfortable. The... More

The location is great, just inside the medina but close to the harbour. The terrace has an amazing 360 view of the city and coast and is brilliant for the yummy buffet breakfast. The room was large, light and spacious with the biggest bath ever. However, the best thing of our stay was the gentle attentiveness of all the staff.... More

We booked 2 rooms for family of 5. One of our rooms was very spacious with long couches that could be used as beds for 2. Room décor is Morrocan, bathroom is colorful and spacious. They changed our one room when another came available that was nicer. My only complaint is the "windows" are to the lobby area and you... More

This hotel does not have a pool. This hotel does not have a beachfront location so that you can walk off it's boundaries onto a powder soft white sand beach either! The rooms do not have a fridge (not when we were there), air con nor the airs and graces of 4/5 star trappings of the larger, more corporate hotel... More

Our spacious room contained a king size bed with side cupboards, a lounge, storage cupboard with a mirror, a flat screen TV, a coffee table, built in wardrobe and reliable wi fi. The lighting was dim but another table lamp was provided on request. The well lit bathroom has a shower over an enormous bath, a toilet, bidet and a... More

Friendly and professional staff, very good breakfast (at the rooftop!). The location is excellent and our room in the first floor was clean and very big (2 levels). I believe the rooms in the higher floors have an ocean view. Don't miss the hammam!
