I've been traveling for more than 10 days in morocco, and seen many different roads all across the country. Malika is by far the best. The decor is stunning, the breakfast is amazing and the service from all the people in the riad was superb. It's quite close to the water, so you could even hear the wind and the... More

We loved our stay in 'Riad Malaika'. Essaouira was a welcome change after 3 nights in the hustle and bustle of Marrakech and RM is in a prime position down a quiet alley off the Medina. It is small and intimate with friendly staff and a pleasing ambience. It is a beautifully preserved example of a traditional Riad which hasn't... More

Stayed there for 2 days for a quick break. Riad Malaïka is a charming dar in a quiet street in the middle of Medina. You can easily wander around to the ramparts or to the port, enjoying the charming essence of Essaouira. I was taken care of by a warm and nice team during all my stay. Will come again!

Excellent location in the middle of the medina but on a quiet street. The riad is really beautiful and charming, and the room we stayed in on the second floor was spotless and nice. The roof terrace is great for sunbathing. Really good breakfast and remember to have dinner at the place, as the food is excellent. Beware, the price... More

The riad is beautiful, with a stunning water feature in the middle of the hallway. The staff were very friendly and gave good restaurant recommendations. The breakfasts were fantastic and huge. We had dinner at the riad which was incredible. The portions were huge (maybe a little too big) but the food was the one of the best meals we... More

Riad Malaika is quite a bijoux place to stay. Great attention has been given to the decor with each room beautifully and individually decorated and furnished in classic Moroccan style. There are books and magazines available to read, an open fire which was lovely in the colder weather, and a central water feature. The food was really excellent, prepared and... More

The riad and the rooms were stunning. Upon arrival we were upgraded to a bigger room for 3 of our 5 nights as there was a cancellation. The staff were very friendly and super helpful with all questions and inquiries. The breakfast was the best we had out of 3 riads in which we stayed. Every day was something new... More

Would recommend a stay at Riad Malaika to everyone staying in windy Essaouira. Abdul, the manager and the Ladies in the kitchen are all smiles and Will helt with anything, including guidance on carpet and argan oil shopping.

The staff were lovely very friendly and proffessional, we were met off the bus and our bags put in a little cart and walked to our riad. The rooms were spotless; the towels big and fluffy and the complimentary soaps yummy. It was beautifully decorated and we were very warmly welcomed; the breakfasts were delicious and the riad and the... More
