Came here for lunch, had a 3 course set menu. The owner was very friendly and ensured we as a group had a wonderful lunch. The fish was delicious, fell apart in your mouth. Drinks were very cheap and it was in beautiful settings, just off the main street.

Surprised to see some of the other comments, maybe they do have a new chef! Had the fish soup which was delicious followed by the lamb which melted in the mouth. Not a dessert person myself but the creme brulee that my friend had was amazing. I didn't think it was overpriced but guess everyone has different ideas. Staff were... More

The venue itself is quite beautiful and as a bar it works and is absolutely fine. We decided to go back for dinner and wished we hadn't. The food portions were very small for the price paid, a fish ball tagine for 150 dr with about 6 very small fish balls and very little else in the tagine. A lady... More

I had a superb fillet steak. My wife's Moroccan dish was disappointing. However, I was quite out-raged by the service we received the following day. We had given the waiter a good tip. Next day it seemed clear that I had left my prescription dark glasses in the restaurant. I returned as we were staying not far away. The reception... More

We found this restaurant/bar on the second night of our week in Essaouira. The staff were extremely friendly. They made us feel very welcome. So much so that we booked in for New Years Eve. The meal was well cooked and well presented, and the staff very attentive. We were the only English speaking in the restaurant but the Manager... More

We stopped by for dinner at the restaurant. Lovely setting, very romantic...BUT...food so average. The need to sack the chef! The red wine was great quality, and even the cheesy band grew on us. Food had no seasoning, bland..very bland.

Made a mistake and did not read reviews first. Saw the restaurant whilst walking. Menu looked OK with some different items from the majority of restaurants in Essaouria. Not only is the food substandard but some food never arrived. It is also on the expensive side. Doubt I could say anything more than what has already been said.

Awful food awful service. The plates were dirty, the soup was watery and the mussels on my husband s dish were "vintage". Don't go there it is a waste of money and time. We were misled by the fact that the place had people but some tables juat set and ran away. It was too late for us.

Allocated right in the centre of the beautiful medina of Essaouira is fawlty towers hotel . Ear plugs should be left home : ear defenders and a good flash torch are the items to take with you in the accidental event of booking with this hotel. The health and safety aspect at this hotel is dangerous as there are no... More

Very nice location within the old city. Nice architecture & design. Very well furnished rooms But if you're staying in this hotel between mid-june and mid-september you will not sleep. In fact, during summer, the lobby where the restaurant is located, switchs to a pub then to a night club until 4.00am. The music is so loud that you can... More
