A part of a group we had no choice in booking this place. We had marginal expectations and I think our expectations were met. It's a simple travellers hotel, very well located in ether middle of the Messina. Our room was large and reasonably well appointed, but there is no heating or cooling which didn't bother us, but did others.... More

This hotel as part of our group tour was located smack in the middle of the medina in Essaouira, easy to find way back to and close to entrance to the medina. Basic room facilities and given the pricing associated with our group tour, quite adequate. Warm given it is the middle of winter and did not require any heating.... More

Towels have to be collected from reception, surly reception staff, incredibly only ONE cup of coffee per person at breakfast (- another cup? You have to pay for it!!), free wake-up call courtesy of the mosque literally next door. Nasty step into dining room has caused many to fall. Steer well clear of this place.

We stayed here as part of a G adventures tour. The hotel seemed nice from the outside & lobby, but upon walking up to the second floor, we were overwhelmed by the smell of sewage. The smell was even stronger once we opened the door to our bathroom. It was so bad that each time I had to use the... More

We stayed two nights at Hotel Souiri as part of our G Adventures tour package. This is located in a pedestrian area, so we hired a porter to bring our luggage to the hotel (for us lazy people). This is a fabulous location and a short walk to the harbor. We were in room 118 with two queen size beds.... More

After lookin around for an hour for a good deal...we found this place...a guy receptionist was nice enough to give us a discount...we stayed for 200dh per night. We got a room eith one bed that has a view to the medina bazaars. It was nice! But... More

Stayed first in March 2006, very pleasant, could not really fault it, would stay again lovely town, lots of other nice places to stay and eat & drink. Great views from the Ramparts of the Harbour and town, nice and cool resort after Marrakesh

I stayed at this hotel in 2010 and then again in Feb 2013. Same rating both times, that is, a nice stay for the price. The 2nd time I got a room on the front and wasn't bothered by any noise so slept well. Breakfast which is included is served in a nicely decorated room.

Stayed at this hotel as part of a group tour. On the positive side, the location was great, and breakfast was enjoyable and served quickly. When the lock to my room wouldn't work it was replaced straight away. The negatives were that my room was on the first floor at the back of the hotel which was incredibly noisy. There... More

I checked in for three nights, choose a room on the front and had no problem with it being noisy. The room was very clean and tidy, I slept between the sheets instead of using my sleeping bag, (which was a regular thing in the lower priced accomodation in Morocco!) It was en suite and had a TV. The breakfast... More
