Well located, convenient with small old-world hotel type rooms. Functional enough for one or two nights at best. After that the noise from the street below, especially drunks arguing below the windows at their leisure till dawn could be an irritant. The terrace is useful and nice for sky views and over the street but not much more than that.... More

Hotel has a good location if you want to be in the centre but it is not a quiet place to be as it is right on a busy shopping and pedestrian street. Rooms are dark and basic although bed comfortable and clean. Bathroom basic and water was often cut off during our 2 day stay there. TV in room... More

I stayed in Souiri 3 nights. It was already booked , otherwise i would have mad an effort to change the place. The rooms were very sober, the floorcarpets were somewhat overdated and needed urgent changing. The toilet and shower were sober but oke and clean. The breakfast was oke. Not too much ( they served bread and bitter/jam) The... More

The Hotel Souiri is a lovely little place, perfectly situated down a side street not far from all the ´action´ in Essaouira. The staff are friendly and helpful, the rooms are simply but stylishly furnished (and some have beautiful stained glass windows), and the whole place is always very very clean (apart from the roof terrace, which could do with... Rooms are above expectation even the ones with joined bathrooms, brakfast ares nicelly furnished in traditional style, people working there are really kind. Is placed in the midle of evrything going on which ever side you deceide to go when you step through the main dors of the hotel you are in the middle of happening in medina.

A part of a group we had no choice in booking this place. We had marginal expectations and I think our expectations were met. It's a simple travellers hotel, very well located in ether middle of the Messina. Our room was large and reasonably well appointed, but there is no heating or cooling which didn't bother us, but did others.... More

This hotel as part of our group tour was located smack in the middle of the medina in Essaouira, easy to find way back to and close to entrance to the medina. Basic room facilities and given the pricing associated with our group tour, quite adequate. Warm given it is the middle of winter and did not require any heating.... More

Towels have to be collected from reception, surly reception staff, incredibly only ONE cup of coffee per person at breakfast (- another cup? You have to pay for it!!), free wake-up call courtesy of the mosque literally next door. Nasty step into dining room has caused many to fall. Steer well clear of this place.

We stayed here as part of a G adventures tour. The hotel seemed nice from the outside & lobby, but upon walking up to the second floor, we were overwhelmed by the smell of sewage. The smell was even stronger once we opened the door to our bathroom. It was so bad that each time I had to use the... More

We stayed two nights at Hotel Souiri as part of our G Adventures tour package. This is located in a pedestrian area, so we hired a porter to bring our luggage to the hotel (for us lazy people). This is a fabulous location and a short walk to the harbor. We were in room 118 with two queen size beds.... More
