Very nice, unusual hotel in the heart of the Medina. Expo Moroccan artwork. Warm welcome, and helpful personnel, which is always nice to have. Very reasonable prices. Superb view from the terrace, good restaurant, La Rencontre.

All good. Service and welcome friendly and helpful. Room clean and breakfast very nice. Location central and convenient. Decor rather striking, not to say odd. Would definitely stay at this hotel again, not least because the manager was so welcoming Liz

The riad Al Khansaa is a must. Off the beaten track but close to the ancient wall a great Riad for singles, couples or children. You are welcomed by Mr Mangor, the manager and his staff, mint tea in abundance. A clean welcoming and relaxing accommodation. The aesthetics are more than pleasurable to every human sense, amazing art in every... More

The manager of the hotel was instantly there to welcome us, with mint tea, and was exceptionally helpful during our two day stay. All staff were attentive and friendly, and was more than happy to help with anything. Room was lovely, very spacious and very clean. Shower was a bit of fun, as I ended up soaking the bathroom, while... More

We spent two nights in Riad Al Khansaa, impressed by the beauty and good quality of this guesthouse and the overwhelming warm welcome by Mr Mangom, the manager. He took good care of us and we enjoyed a lot his company and good sense of humour. The place is very nice and welcoming. Essaouira is a must-see with windy beaches... More

This Riad is one of the nicest and most hospitable hotels I've stayed at. We (two Dutch girls and me, Australian) booked a triple room, asking for separate beds and the large size room. When we got there, they gave us separate beds but a small room and quickly changed us once we agreed space was premium and we could... More

My boyfriend and I stayed 3 nights at Riad Al khansaa in July 2013 but wished we had stayed longer. We found this lovely riad in the medina after having already booked and paid for another hotel in essouria which unfortunately dissapointed us. Riad Al Khansaa was just the right place to fully enjoy our last three days of holiday,... More

Terrible experience. Menacing staff. bedbedside lights didn´t work nor the fridge. No toiletries. Filthy minging bathroom. I would NEVER stay there again. The road to get to it was full of excrement (Animal or human). Dark and dingy. Nothing like other places I have stayed in in Morocco.

I was travelling to Essauira with 3 x 16 year old boys after just finishing our climb on Mount Toubkal, Marrakech and you can imagine how tired we were. The Riad doesnt have a room with 4 single beds but they went out of their way to give us the largest ensuite room and add another single bed with no... More
