From the moment I wandered in off the street with no reservation, I was greeted with a genuine warm smile by the fabulous Nadia at reception. I was given a choice of 2 rooms but I fell in love with one that had French doors and looked out over the front. It was like a little apartment! So cute! It... More

The says it all. Hotel Cap Sim is a bit hard to find at first as Moroccan cities are not that easy to navigate for foreigners but once you found it it is an oasis of friendliness, peaceful and calm with a double for the price of two dorm beds in Marrakech. Recommended for everybody who wants to explore the... More

This review is a bit late in being submitted because this is the first opportunity I've had to write it up. This very pleasant and inexpensive hotel is ideally situated in the medina of the lovely little port town of Essaouira. I stayed here for 10 days in January and liked it - and Essaouira itself - so much that... More

Very cheap and basic, but you get what you pay for. Clean rooms, good location and very helpful and friendly staff. The hot water in the bathroom was a bit irregular though. Nice terrace to chill out.

We visit Essaouira alot and pound for pound this is the best place to stay.In the centre of town, the hotel is great value. The staff are always helpful and friendly and they have a roof terrace which gives great views.A couple of the rooms have terraces which are worth paying a little extra for.We like the terrace room where we are... Good little spot in the medina is Essaouria: clean, reasonably priced and well located - what more can you ask for? It is worth looking at the different rooms before you choose, we went for a bit more luxury and felt it was worth it. Nice breakfasts and friendly staff too!

Only planned heading to Essaouira two days before from Marrakech and this hotel was in our guide book. What a great place, emailed them and they had a room for us (only 220Dh - about £16-£17/night for two people) available. Big hotel with many rooms. These are very simple and some are for shared bathrooms but we did not mind... More

This place was recommended in our guide book and we were so glad to find it! We were in contact with the owner as we hadn't booked it and she was lovely and greeted us on arrival. She showed us serval options before we settled on the top floor which had its own personal terrace space. Rooms are adequate for... More

this is a great little hotel, great value, fiendly, helpful. It is an excellant place for female travellers as the staff are all women so hassle free. I have stayed here on numerous occasions and I hope for many return visits.
