We stayed , on our self-drive tour of Morocco in a variety of riads, self-catering apartments and hotels , but Hotel Capsim was clearly the best. Charming reception by Nadia, helpful staff, easy access to parking, the medina and the port . Don't expect 5 star trimmings , but do expect comfort and good, fr friendly service at these reasonable... More

My friends and I found Hotel Cap Sim to be very accommodating. The staff is friendly and kind. The hotel is clean and bright. The decor is traditional and there's a lovely view from the roof terrace. The hotel is centrally located.

I stayed there for one night. My review is objectively, we only got joked by the price. The riad is clean. Our room was very loud by the noises of the street. So you should expect a stress night with less sleep. The bathroom is a kind of old, but the bed room is fine. We checked three rooms they... More

From the moment I wandered in off the street with no reservation, I was greeted with a genuine warm smile by the fabulous Nadia at reception. I was given a choice of 2 rooms but I fell in love with one that had French doors and looked out over the front. It was like a little apartment! So cute! It... More

Saturday 17 May , I went to Essaouira with my best friend. We were planning to stay just for two single night, but getting to meet Nadia the reception girl and the others made us think of another nights there . It was magic ! That was the second time I traveled there , and spending time in the Hotel with... More

The says it all. Hotel Cap Sim is a bit hard to find at first as Moroccan cities are not that easy to navigate for foreigners but once you found it it is an oasis of friendliness, peaceful and calm with a double for the price of two dorm beds in Marrakech. Recommended for everybody who wants to explore the... More

This review is a bit late in being submitted because this is the first opportunity I've had to write it up. This very pleasant and inexpensive hotel is ideally situated in the medina of the lovely little port town of Essaouira. I stayed here for 10 days in January and liked it - and Essaouira itself - so much that... More

Very cheap and basic, but you get what you pay for. Clean rooms, good location and very helpful and friendly staff. The hot water in the bathroom was a bit irregular though. Nice terrace to chill out.

We visit Essaouira alot and pound for pound this is the best place to stay.In the centre of town, the hotel is great value. The staff are always helpful and friendly and they have a roof terrace which gives great views.A couple of the rooms have terraces which are worth paying a little extra for.We like the terrace room where we are... Good little spot in the medina is Essaouria: clean, reasonably priced and well located - what more can you ask for? It is worth looking at the different rooms before you choose, we went for a bit more luxury and felt it was worth it. Nice breakfasts and friendly staff too!
