My sister and I stayed at Hotel Emotion in October 2013 for just one night as we were only in Essaouira for a couple of days. We absolutely loved this little hotel - beautifully decorated inside, they told us to choose a room with no extra cost as we were the only guests staying that day. We chose one of... More

Upon arrival in Essaouira we phoned for directions and were pleasantly surprised by Herve's offer to come and collect us. Check in was quick and accompanied by tea and Moroccan biscuits. Herve and Hanane provided tips on what to see and do in Essaouira. During tea we made a great decision by deciding to have dinner at the Riad. There... More

As soon as we arrived at the bus station, we were greeted by Otman, who was replacing the owners at the time. He made sure that we had everything we needed and had a great experience in Essaouira. He went out of his way to help us whether it was looking for a place to eat or figuring out our... More

my boyfriend and i stayed here in June and had the best time. We looked at around 10 riads before stumbing upon this beautiful place. The rooms are all immaculately decorated with hand painted furniture and the morning sun shining through the coloured glass in the rooftop room was stunning to wake up to each day. We feel as though... More

There were a total of 7 of us on our holiday. After spending a few days in Marrakech, we took a bus to Essaouira. We had a lovely welcome by Ismahane at the station, greeted with a glass of mint tea and cakes on arrival at the Riad. Hana and Herve are a sweet couple who own this Riad. They... More

We rented the whole Riad as there were two families on this trip. It is in the Medina, and also a very short walk to the beach. Everything you could possibly want is within a short walk. The rooms are imaginatively decorated and stylish. The only reason I haven't given it 5* is because our shower was a bit substandard... More

The location of the riad is superb. A short, pleasant walk will be enough to reach the medina, the most famous fish restaurant in town and the beach. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Being a family-run business, you feel looked after almost like a friend. They recommended renting a bike, which was a great idea. We had dinner... More

The staff were wonderfully helpful, the breakfast was something that made you want to get out of bed each morning... If i had to return to Essaouira this is the place i would stay at again. Truly a relaxing place. Thanks for all the help. Paul & Ninia from Malta.

This Riad is well located in beautiful Essaouira. The gracious owners offered us drinks and olives as they shared their fascinating wedding pictures with us. The staff is friendly and helpful. My only reservation is how comfortable the room would be in hot weather as I don't believe there is air conditioning or a fan and curtains must be drawn... More

Small, elegant riad, beautifully decorated. Owners waited our arrival to ask what we wanted for dinner and sent employee out to fullfill our requests, including getting shampoo. First greeted with tea served impecably, then invited later for a glass of kir, enjoyed talking with Herve and Hanane and sharing their photos. If our path takes us back to Essaouira, we... More
