We arrived for 2 nights break from the road and were very pleased to find the oasis that is Dar al Manar. Fatima greeted us at the door and showed us a large and beautifully decorated room with a king size bed , freshly painted with traditional styles. Nothing was too much trouble for Fatima who was warm and friendly... More

Stayed 1 night at this riad and after reading the reviews as well as LP review about finding the riad, we made sure we had all the information ready to hand to find it and planned our trip to arrive in the late afternoon, not evening so we would not be driving in the dark. We found it without any... More

Positive: Tranquil setting . Lovely evening meal cooked by staff . Negative: We had a ground floor room , with electric shutters to glass door. Nets , but no curtain so if you want a dark room shutters must be closed. After the first night sleep , there was electric cut we had opened the shutters a little before hand... More

As a host, i always feel deeply disappointed when my guests are not fully satisfied when they leave my house. As you know, we are located in a peaceful place, out of the city, and sometimes have to face unexpected electrical power cuts. However our generating set is here to avoid these temporary annoyances. I particularly pay attention to my... More

It was hard to find as no signage can be found. Maybe a tip would be to send an e-mail with a route description to all bookings? With Fatima's help we found it after all! Unfortunately we where late and stayed only one night. Next time would like to stay longer, and explore the surroundings more and enjoy a sunset... More

We stayed here with our children for 3 nights. The rooms were nice but I have an issue with the service. The night before we left the electricity went in the whole house leaving us in total darkness, so we accidentally left some of our children's clothes in the living room as we departed the next morning. We have tried... More

Unfortunately, we only stayed here one night, but would loved to have stayed longer. This Dar is definitely not easy to find and we spent a long time driving around and speaking to Fatima, the owner, on the phone, trying to find the place. In the end, she had to come to a mutually agreed upon spot and fetch us.... More

Once we found Fatima's beautiful home (best to phone her for directions as SatNav/ Google struggles to place correct location), our last night in this land of contrasts was made very special by the warmth of her welcome. The bedrooms and public areas are designed and finished to a high standard and the breakfast is simple and excellent. Sadly we... More

A wonderful place to stay close to El Jadida. Lovely large room with a balcony. Make sure you have one of Fatima's home-cooked dinners - wonderful food, especially her pastilla! Fatima is a warm and friendly person, so don't miss staying here.

We really enjoyed the way in which Fatim made us feel as though we were her guests in this beautiful homestead with wonderful views over land and sea. We were in a home away from home, isolated but safe, with friendship al all times. Great food. Superb decor (100% Moroccan). Call Fatim if you come at night - she will... More

this out of the way chic home, is a pace we welcomed in the maddening chaos of Moroccos bustling cities. This lovely home was warm, welcoming, stylish, and was equipped with all the mod cons we were after.wifi, bath, shower terrace solitude and privacy. It is a quick drive into El Jadida where we found a very manageable town, fort,... More
