I stayed here for several days while exploring El Jadida and nearby Azemmour. My private room (with en-suite bath) was huge. Two beds, a small sitting area and large windows that opened providing an abundance of light. My room was very clean. Little touches like a towel drying rack and a desk (for writing/reading) were nice. The staff was friendly... More

Great place close to busstation and town. We payed 140 for a double without bathroom. The room was very clean came with TV, towels and WiFi. Breakfast would be 20 dirham pp so we just went to a cafe. The landing and lounge were beautifully decoraTed. Will come again.

Hotel wasn't located near the madina but distances in el jaddida are not relevant. That's why I wouldn't recommend to stay in this town to anybody, you have seen the Portuguese cistern and the medina within an hour. Better going to safi or oualidia. If there's no other option beware of getting there on winter, rooms are so big and... More

I stayed there with my friend in november and we were really amazed by nice and clean rooms with balcony to street, own bathroom with europe-style toilet and :) The price was about 250MAD/2persons/night. Maybe best stay we had in Morroco.

The owners told me that I hold the record for the longest stay at the Royal having stayed for several months some years ago. The rooms are mostly large and airy with little greenhouse like cabins with a shower and WC. The rooms are spotlessly clean but the plumbing can be a little eccentric at times. In the hot weather... The rooms here are serviceable and clean. The reception is wonderfully appointed in a traditional style. The real bonus here is the garden; it's absolutely beautiful, a calm quiet oasis in the middle of town. Stretching from reception to a high back wall it comprises several bars and a small snack bar which serves nice Moroccan fast food. Sitting in... More

My husband and I stayed at the Hotel Royal for two nights in mid-September and we were pleasantly surprised, given the (low) price. The reception area, hallways, and our room were all very clean. The former two had pretty tile, glass, and other decorations. Our room was plain but fine, airy, very high ceiling. We had a little balcony overlooking... More

Stayed here two nights in a large room with two grand lit beds dining table and balcony. There was a cabin in room containing toilet and shower. Room has high ceiling and a small television. We had a room facing the street and traffic was noisy in the morning. Five minutes walking to beach and same for town centre. Close... More

This correctly priced budget hotel is good if all you want to do is close your eyes and fall asleep. In order to do so you should however be prepared for old sheets and insufficiently warm blankets in the winter months. You can however not complain considering the price and to be fair it was not much worse than the... More
