We had just been in this beautiful little riad inside the portougese citadel and we are very happy! Changing from another accomodation that we find horrible, we find this friendly place owned by the empathic massimo. The camera was clean and spaceful and the position was perfect. Very appreciated!

We arrived late in the afternoon in December for a quick one night stay, just to have a break after a long journey straight from Fes. It was dark and we didn't know the exact location, so we had to ask some locals for information, which was the best idea we could have as everybody knows Massimo, the lovely italian... More

This riad is OK but no more than just OK. I am sad to say it is not worth 45 euros a night. Located right in the middle of the old Portuguese Town. Very difficult to find as the sign on the door is tiny. You'll need to make sure you have good directions before you set off. El Jadida... More

Centrally located in the cite Portugaise, parking 50m from the hotel (free of charge), helpful assistance, the room ok, good for one night (bed covers / blankets 100% clean; not for the longer hotel stay (depending on preferences & expectations); reflects the price paid, breakfast also OK (standard choice) on the nice roof terrace - perfect view, helpful and very... We only stayed for 1 night which was a real shame, the hotel is slap bang in the middle of the very friendly portuguese city and with a little help from the locals we were able to find it. The host was wonderful, there was nothing that was too much trouble, the rooms were lovely, great shower and great breakfast,... More

I paid a quick visit to El Jadida during a recent visit to Morocco. This little property is in the riad style and is located in the old Cité Portuguaise - the historical part of the town. The streets round about are a bit dilapidated, but the hotel itself (which is situated in a renovated house) is very nice inside.... More

We only stayed one night in Dar El Jadida as there wasn't a lot going on during Ramadan so decided to move on. The riad itself is in the medina, which we liked. The owner was a friendly Italian and we ended up having a beer or two on the rooftop with him. Since it was Ramadan and nothing was... More

Friendly hosts, nice room, amazing towels, perfect rooftop breakfast. Stayed here one night on one of our first nights in Morocco. A little tough to find inside the walled city but a local boy showed us the way and wouldn't even accept money for thanks. The room was clean and comfy. The rooftop terrace was amazing. Kids play outside til... More

Too dirty. The only thing that was clean was the bed, but the floor, table, bathroom were dusty and not well cleaned. As reported in other reviews, the bathroom had a disgusting smell, we tried to use it as little as possible because it was so bad. Bad value: Too expensive. Especially considering one room costs over 50 euros per... More

Loved it!! Once we'd found it in the heart of the medina, we were made very welcome by the proprietor, who showed us where to park (for free). Lovely rooms, clean and bright, and big private bathrooms just outside the bedroom doors. As already noted, the proprietor is a retired gondolier who did refrain from singing while we were there...
