We spent our family summer 2 week holiday here last year and it was far and away the best hotel I have ever stayed at. Beautiful, stunning location. Divine public areas. Our beach villa was enormous and fabulous with bathroom, shower room, outdoor bath, bedroom, huge living area, large terrace and lovely warm plunge pool, and right on the beach.... more

Got married and had our honeymoon in this hotel. Staff were very polite & attentive. We were allocated a wedding planner who we gave all our ideas for our big day...style of flowers, location on site, cake, decoration, nibbles etc which was all in with the wedding package. Wedding planner kept in close contact with us until the wedding day... more

We stayed at Le Prince Maurice for our honeymoon at the end of August/beginning of September, which is still the quiet season. Occupancy was around 35%. The hotel was everything we expected from a honeymoon hotel. The architecture and layout of the hotel is gorgeous, service impeccable and very friendly. Junior suite rooms are beautiful and spacious, the senior suites... more

Enjoyed staying here, and would do so again. Went during low season when occupancy was below 30% and got a very good rate, thanks to a good travel agent. Took the half-board option, which is much better value than paying for each meal. Food was excellent, with enough variety and different dining locations to keep me happy for a week... more

Over christmas stayed at the hotel, firstly i have been and stayed at them all, so I consider myself a very hard guest to please, the service in f&b was really bad, just like a hilton, very average, nothing special, constant mistakes. The food was suburb as was the housekeeping, the Australian chef there really knows his stuff, looked after... more

Someone in the hotel used my wife's credit card to book a flight to England, Knowing how poorly Andrew Milton (manager) handled this problem i would assume the person responsible still works there. This was my second visit but the management had changed since my first visit and it showed. The food had gone down hill, some of the waiting... more

We stayed at Le Prince Maurice for the first part of our honeymoon. Despite booking the hotel on a honeymoon basis this was not recognised throughout our stay (in great contrast the moment we arrived at our second hotel - The Four Seasons we were congratulated on our wedding and received some nice honeymoon touches including Champagne and an in-villa... more

My husband and I finished our honeymoon in South Africa with a trip to Mauritius, and stayed at Le Prince Maurice. The first night we got there we were amazed to see and hear the waves of the Indian Ocean breaking a short distance from the shore. It is a beautiful, secluded resort- the staff appears to work very hard... more

We stayed at the Prince Maurice for our honeymoon, hoping for a once in a lifetime holiday, and we weren't disappointed! The hotel is on the east coast, which tends to be quite windy, but it faces north across a wide bay and so is really sheltered, and the sea very calm and gentle. The beach is lovely, white sand... more

We stayed at the Prince Maurice for 2 weeks. The hotel is very well staffed and beautifully designed - certainly at the top end of the range. Rooms were no more than 2 storey; our (senior) suite was superb; its own small pool, facing straight onto the beach (the hotel faces north across a bay so the beach is sheltered... more
