We spent a week at The Residence and loved everything about the hotel. It has great surroundings, food and service. The beach, sea, and swimming pools were lovely. The snorkeling out in the lagoon was quite interesting, but most of the coral was bleached and dead. It does what it says on the tin, and is a reliable 5 star... more

Following a week in Dubai my hubby & I stayed at The Residence to celebrate our 10th Wedding Anniversary. We reserved a Colonial Ocean View room, half board.. but infact were upgraded to a suite - which was fantastic. We have just arrived back from this lovely hotel. We travelled with 3, 5, 6 year old children. The hotel staff really can not do enough for you. We arrived at The Residence on the 2nd leg of our honeymoon. We were greeted with hot towels and a cool drink and the staff were extremely courteous.
