Wow, what an amazing place. Medhufushi is absolutely paradise. This was our 2nd trip to the Maldives. We paid significantly more than our first hotel, but it was worth it. I would DEF recommend a water villa (they are worth the increase in price from a beach bungalow ten times). We switched water villas on the 1st day to make... more

A paradisiac hotel-island in The Maldives , nothing to argue about that , no bad surprise . However , service and customer relationship are terrible : - staff is omnipresent , chasing tips all the time , and hassling us , giving the feeling to be spied constantly ; that's really heavy and extremely unprofessionnal , nothing to do with... more

Spent Christmas & New Years here and it was a wonderful stay. The over water bungalos are very nice and have a lot of room (as well as stairs into the ocean). We had a bit of a problem with bugs, but not much you can really do about that. We were lucky to be on the windward side, so... more

I travelled to Medhufushi in December 2008 for a week. I was travelling alone, wanting a quiet place where I could relax and recharge my batteries - and this resort is exactly that. If you're looking for a trendy, busy place or somewhere where you can meet other single travellers then I'd suggest NOT going here - this resort is... more

My partner and I have just returned from 2 weeks in the Maldives. We spent our first week at Velidhu Island (3* all inclusive) and our second week at Medhufushi Island (5* half board). We thoroughly enjoyed our time at both resorts. We travelled with Sri Lankan airlines. The flights were on time, no delays either way. The experience was... more

Amazing, we where a bit apprehensive after reading some reviews. But we could say that no other place would of been as good, relaxed, food amazing, service was second to none and i've stayed in some great hotels. ALthough very expensive for drinks but hey if thats what you want on holiday go to Spain. This is the perfect place... more

We flew Sinagpore Airlines a smooth flight on both ways no delays not denting our 7 day stay. The seaplane was an adventure in itself and a perfect way to see the Islands from the sky Medhufushi was about 40 minutes away all transfers we're organised so efficently and we flew direct no stop offs. Once at the Island everything... more

after extensive search, we decided to choice Medhufushi resort and the choice was successful. Everything was great. Just one tip. take the beach villas looking at the ocean side, in the afternoon you have plenty of shadow and sea breeze....you definittively need it otherwise is too hot... more

Just arrived from 2 weeks in Maldives. We was booking Filitheyo for 9 nights but they were overbooked so we was put here. The island itself is very big (if you compare to other islands in maldives). The island is very green with lots of trees and palm trees and white sandy beaches around...very beautiful. Unfortunately the beaches are not... more

We stayed on Medhufushi for two nights as the other island also owned by AAA (Filitheyo) was overbooked. Many couples on Medhufushi were "Filitheyo refugees" due to the seeming policy of AAA to overbook Filitheyo and send guests to Medhufushi. (I think I've got the correct Medhufushi, as there is also one with a similar/same name in North Male Atoll... more
