maldives are wonderful, but boring, and laguna isn't an exception. Food and restaurand should be improved (in particular concerning variety of food). Rooms are big, clean and comfortable (no TV). Beach is wonderful, the best I never see. more

I cant believe some people moaning about Laguna. I'm a Kiwi living in the UK and have stayed all through the South Pacific including Fiji many times and the Laguna was as good if not better than any I have stayed at before. I love the natural environment (sun, sea & sand including the schools of varied fishes) offered by this part of the world. What I didn't enjoy is the rules that this resort imposes on its guests i.e. guests can only sit in an allocated table in a restaurant or a deck chair assigned to your room. I pay good money... more

Our stay at Laguna was fantastic in every way. Food excellent, lot's of variety. We had the same waiter all week which was a nice touch. Good things first: The water was pristine turquoise, and for a good half of the island, the sand fine and clean. Good snorkeling (as long as you don't go after a storm) and the end water villas with the tubs on the deck are a great plus.
