If you want a bustling nightlife, or lots of daytime activities to keep you occupied then Biyadhoo Island Resort is not the place for you. It's a small island with beautifull beaches, warm waters and offers it's guests the option to do the usual water activities, has a Spa and offers a few other excursions, but that's it. For the... more

Stayed for 2 weeks in May, after booking a Kuoni Holiday through Mark's Travel. The discounted price was the key to booking the all inclusive holiday. Always fancied the Maldives, but it was usually too expensive, but the deals are out there just now !! The resort was exactly as most other reviewers had written - the accommodation is simple,... more

Have just returned from the island. I have travelled extensively and was nervous about taking a budget holiday- thoroughly enjoyed it. I agree that Biyadhoo is not a luxury holiday, but found that the accommodation was more than adequate for sleeping and showering as the rest of the time was spent at the bar or on the beach. Rowan (the... more

We've just returned from two excellent weeks at Biyadoo. We went mainly for the diving and to do our AOW. The island was absolutely beautiful and the staff were very helpful and obliging. We went diving every morning and every afternoon and did two night dives. The dive team were all really lovely - particularly Rifshan, Simona & Monika. The... more

Biyadoo is "exactly what it says on the tin"- a no frills island with a good house reef where you will experience total relaxation- mainly because there is nothing to do but snorkel & sunbathe. There is a lot of flaura & forna on the island. The mozzies were quite fierce & seemed to ignore any repellant. Our first room... more

I spent two weeks in Biyadhoo and though the start of my trip did not bode well - my meal plan of Full Board did not include even table water with my meals which was a massive shock, and I wasn't on all inclusive as my Kuoni internet info led me to believe I was, and the porter was annoyed... more

We returned from 2 weeks AI on Biyadhoo, South Male Atol, Maldives earlier this week. Holiday booked via Marks Travel / Kuoni . This was our third visit to the Maldives, previously we have been too Kuramathi & Meedhupparu. I’ll do my best to keep it factual & brief! Flight: We flew direct to Male from London Heathrow with Sri... more

We have just got back from a fantastic week at Biyadhoo. I can see why the island has so many return visitors. Many of the people we met last week hade been at lest once before. We went to Biyadhoo with open minds and are really glad we chose this island over some of the other more plush resorts. The... more

Just got back from Biyadoo Island (17th May 2009). What a place. A tremendous House Reef, excellent beaches, sea etc. One of a few Islands left on the Malidves that isn't 5 Star. Overall, it's clean, (ish) tidy and above all great value for money. Go all inclusive. more
