I cannot fault this place one bit. After reading countless reviews and asking forum questions about the best island/resort with the most comfortable accomodations, the best food.. blah blah blah.. I am absolutely thrilled that I chose Cocoa Island. Not only do they (the staff) spend the time to get to know you.. from the minute you step onto their... more

Just returned from 12 blissful days at this amazing resort. Having travelled for work and pleasure for 20 years I can truly stay it was my best ever experience. Every detail from a visual and a service perspective was carefully considered..it was just perfection. The weather was fabulous, even in September with just a small amount of cloud and rain... more

THE GOOD, We stayed at Cocoa Island for 7 nights and even though it was low season had fantastic weather, with just a little rain during the night and a wonderful electrical storm on the horizon. Of course, the staff, always so friendly and helpful, they are a credit to the Republic of the Maldives!! The food was responsible for... more

Me and my partner have just returned from a 2 week holiday in Cocoa Island-our first trip to the Maldives. After reading all of the reviews from Trip Advisor about Cocoa Island we had very high, almost unrealistically high expectations, but I can honestly say that these were no just met, but exceeded during our stay. Our trip to Cocoa... more

Having been back in reality for 4 months after our honeymoon at Cocoa Island, my wife and I agree that it is by far the best holiday/vacation we have ever had. The staff: excellent The food: excellent The resort: excellent It is not an inexpensive holiday but the value for what you get is worth it. We saved our money... more

This is our first visit to the Maldives. We only stayed 3 nights at Cocoa Island during the Easter holidays. As we are a big group of 6 (4 adults and 2 children), we stayed in the resort's two bedroom villa for 2 nights. The design had a comfortable home feel and blended well with the natural scenic beauty. The... more

Just had a 5 nights stay in Cocoa Island with my partner. Literally stepped off the plane this morning (24th of Mar). We were greeted promptly at the airport but had to wait 20 to 30 mintues for the whole group to gather. This wasn't great as it was already 12am at night. Arrived at the hotel and it was... more

This has a great design with lots of beautiful details. It is a tiny resort, so best suited for those looking for lots of privacy and very little to do. The restuarant has great food but of course a limited variety. Highley recomened for design conscious couples. more

Just returned from a 5 night stay at Cocoa Island. I just can't explain how wonderful our experience was. We had a loft villa. It was beautiful. At first I almost thought it was TOO big as I was expecting rooms more along the size of the ones in Bora Bora. It didn't take long to get comfortable though. There... more

It is hard to imagine a more heavenly place than Cocoa Island. The resort is everything it promises to be and then some thanks to the natural beauty of the island and the surrounding area, the concept and design of the resort and to a very large degree the wonderful people who work there. It is expensive but all in... more
