After researching several luxury resorts, my husband and I decided on Cocoa Island for our honeymoon. We based our decision on all the fabulous reviews we read on Tripadvisor. As all other 5 star reviews have stated, this truly is a wonderful place. I should also make special mention of the food, which is excellent by any standards. We stayed in Loft Villa, which i would recommend over the other options as you have a much larger sun-deck. I would also advise travellers to book on a full board... more

Spent a week on Cocoa Island and just loved it. It feels like being on an exclusive private island. We flew Qatar Airways which were excellent and the transfer on the speed boat is a treat and just what the doctor ordered to wipe away the cobwebs. Second visit to Cocoa. It truly is stupendous. As far removed from grey old GB as Mars from Earth! Love the tranquillity and spent a week reading, swimming, feasting, sleeping and.....hearing our loved-up German neighbours making raucous love. Several times per day. Stunning island, brilliant boat transfer, gorgeous food - for healthy and non-healthy eaters :) really a fantastically relaxed, sexy and romantic destination.
