We have a horrible beginning in this travel in Thuhlagiri, we arrive at Mala airport at 2:30 in Nov 9 and stay at airport to have a rest. At 8:00, we still can not see the reception service staff of Thuhlagiri, at 8:30, with the help of other hotel's staff, we see the reception staff of thuhalagiri and hope him... more

Myelf and my Husband spent 2 glourious weeks on this wonderful island. From our very first day we feel in love with this enchanting place. We were also surprised to be upgraded to one of the new water bungalows, which was stunning and was kept spotlessly clean by our lovely room boy! The food was excellent, with so much choice... more

We have just returned from a week at Thulhagiri to celebrate our wedding anniversary. We were thrilled to be allocated a water bungalow on arrival ( we had booked a beach bungalow which is a lot cheaper!). The bungalow was one of the older ones but the faded decking and sun bleached curtains just added to the charm. The bed... more

We had a good reason for choosing this island - our friends are teaching at the dive centre on the island at the moment. We had a lovely time during our stay but I can only put this down to their company rather than the resort. The island is pleasant and the accommodation adequate but not what we had hoped... more

This was our 5th visit to the Maldives, previously staying at Meeru, Reethi (twice) and Kuredu. This was a late booking and we chose to book the flights direct as well as the resort (through Vermillion Travel based in Male). This worked out a fair bit cheaper than what Thomsons were asking and we would consider doing this again. On... more

This was our fourth visit to the Maldives; previously we have visited Veligandu, Mirihi and Komandoo. I chose this island because of its size as I wanted a peaceful, relaxing holiday. At the time of booking I was not told about the construction of the extra 17 water villas and when I read about it in a TripAdviser review I... more

Stayed for a week here for our honeymoon the first week in April. A lovely relaxed island, friendly staff and a real 'homely' feel about the place - we didnt want to leave!! Direct flight from Gatiwck with Thomson on time and okay. The first glimpse of the Maldives from above was awesome! Upon arrival it appeared that as it... more

A great 3 star island. Food fantastic, not too repetative as some reviews have said. Gained half a stone in two weeks, so that should say something. The reef is the best yet seen within the Maldives. You want to come face to face with a large shark, heres the place to snorkel. Numerous fish, turtles, moray eels and rays... more

The bungalows were spacious and cleaned a few times daily . Staff were extremely friendly, helpful throught the resort . The food was exellent... more

The island itself is gorgeos, the smell of wilderness and the scenery. However,it is very crowded, with many beach villas packed very close together. It is packed with Germans, who all seem to know each other. So, next time we will definately pick an island with more privacy. On arrival, we got a musty villa and switched to another, only to face a bed... more
