Found paradise - have just returned after two wondeful weeks on this island. We found the staff all very helpful, and this was helped by the occasional tipping; which we did as we went along. We do not go to the maldives for 5* luxary but to enjoy the tranquility and the natural beauty the maldives has to offer and Velavaru did not let us down.
