Sole traveller, July 2014. I'm a single late 20s female, travelled to Reethi on my own for a quick 5 day break from life. I did a lot of research regarding mid priced resorts in the Maldives to suit a sole traveller, I didn't want somewhere where I would overtly be stuck with honeymooners or somewhere ridiculously overpriced. I think... More

We chose this island in a short time and the price is very reasonable. It's a very quiet and nice place to relax yourself and enjoy the different activities on the island. We especially watch the final match of world cup with the other guests together and enjoy the time very much. I would like to recommend to my friends... More

Went on honeymoon to the Maldives last month, was so undecided where to stay. Read a lot about Reethi and so happy we chose it! Was so chilled out and just complete relaxation! We stayed in a water villa for 10 days. Weather was great while we were there but very windy! Currents at water villas are quite strong but... More

This was our seventh visit to the Maldives at Christmas but never to the same resort. We were quite surprise how rough the sea on the east site was which meant all the dhoni activity was on the best beach being the sunset side which rather spoilt the view. The rooms had been refurbished but fell short of that done... More

Buffet food is good and change everyday, accommodation varies, beach bungalow are nice, standard bungalow can be nice or quite ugly depending your position the worst is definitely the water bungalow which is a rip off.. All inclusive is a good plan, if you are a normal social drinker. Sunset trip excursion is a bit "sad", nice sunset but not... More

Reethi Beach Resort is a small, barefoot resort without the flashiness and price of the big, luxury resorts. We stayed in room 111 on the sunset side of the island and the room comfortably fitted the four of us. The bathroom looked like it had been renovated recently. The room was cleaned twice a day. Drinking water was replaced daily.... More

Stayed here between June 29 & July 11. I am a solo traveller & this was my second visit here in 2 years. This time I stayed in a standard villa on the west (sunset) side of the island which I much preferred. The b&b option worked well for me. The Moodhu restaurant being my favourite place to eat out... This was always going to be a bit of a difficult review to write as we had visited the Maldives 3 years ago and had the most amazing time, so we promised ourselves to try not to compare the two but take Reethi at face value - naturally it didn't always work. We arrived by domestic airline and speedboat when... More
