Stayed there for 3 weeks due to business. This hotel was chosen as it was nearest to where I was to be stationed for that 3 weeks. The room price was overcharged and not up to my expectations. Room was basic but they offer free wifi, though wifi speed is slow during night time due to heavy usage. Also, as... More

Dear Sir, Warmest greeting from THE QAMAR PAKA, Terengganu… Thank you for your sincere comments on those aspects of our resort which you found unpleasant. We are constantly striving to live up to the high standards we have set for ourselves and for you our guest. However, on occasion we do fail to do so as happened in your case.... More

We spent a night in Paka on our way back to Kota Bharu. We couldnt find any other hotel in Paka. We pass by a few small hotel but decide to stay here. What I can say is that the room rate is expensive despite the average service, average room facilities, average breakfast spread. The beach doesnt seem to be... More

Rebranded as The Qamar but rebranded alone is not enough. Major refurbishment must be done. My room's door was very hard to open. Probably because of the improper method of painting. Choices for breakfast were limited, however, room service menu were well priced & delicious. Overall: Could be better

The room charge considered very high for such hotel. It costs almost RM300 per night for a garden view room. Room wasn't so impressive. Not very clean as there are stains in the bathroom. However, this is the only choice we have for a decent hotel in paka.

Now its known as Qamar hotel. In terms of location, it's convenient since it's only about 10 minutes away from the processing plants in Kerteh. Rooms are OK, a bit old... and the rate is somewhat on the high side. The choices of food for breakfast is good; not much choices for room service though but price is reasonable. There... More

This hotel only works because is close to Petronas and does not have much competence. Do not think that the reason it is many times full is because of its quality. They will be also lucky because most of the people who stay here is to work therefore they spend all day out working, so they only realise the service... More

Now known as The Qamar, it's newly renovated in half part of the hotel. We stayed in chalet 702 for 2 nights, the room is quite big. The air-cond works well, however it's too noisy. Hot shower and wifi also works well. It'd be great if there are more TV channels available. The housekeeping doesnt come until around 3 or... More

I hosted some seminars here for Petronas (that's the state oil company) engineers, and stayed in the hotel. As it is close to a large oil and gas centre, this place does not have to try too hard. If you cannot get a good night's sleep, never mind the details. The bed was rock hard. If you can sleep in... More

We are a couple with 2 young kids. Overall room condition is OK. I switch room once during my 3 days stay due to last minute booking. I think the rooms in this hotel have been newly refurbished as I could see that their bathroom is like a brand new together with the overall good room condition. On a first... More
