Went there under my company's trip - a two days and one night stay in May'14. Food - We had a great dinner and a superb morning buffet throughout our short stay at their premise. Location - Probably the best in Kuala Terengganu; Pantai Batu Buruk beach is just in front of the hotel. The hotel also has its private... More

My company had booked 3 rooms and 2 event halls at Primula Beach Resort. Staff at the counter were clueless on the event happening the next and were unable to answer our questions. We were then assisted by the duty manager who called the Sales Dept and sorted out our rooms. As we were checking in before 2pm, only 2... More

The hotel is overrated. Although the front office has good smiling and fast service, it is not the same for the rest of the servicing staff, especially the buffet breakfast. The age of hotel is clearly shown through its rooms and ambiance. It seriously need refurbishment. Even the rooms are very lacking in other amenities such as face towels etc.... More

Nice hotel with pleasant swimming pool next to the beach (the beach is not particularly nice and there is a strong wind coming off the sea). I stayed on the way back to the mainland from Redang Island, it's a nice place to relax and do nothing as there is not much to do or see in Kuala Terengganu.

Stayed one night here. Not too far from the airport. RM30 by taxi. Great plus point of this hotel is that it has a private beach. Very very nice. Other than the beach - everything else was not great. Customer service was poor. Bathroom mat was gunky. Had fish for dinner and it tasted as if it had been defrosted,... More

Get a room with sea view because it is going to make a difference to your stay. You catch riders from the nearby polo club riding down the beach from your balcony. The coffee house does offer the signature Terengganu all-day dish called nasi dagang, which is curry tuna fish with belimbing complemented by cucumber. Best enjoyed using fingers but... More

The hotel is old and the property is in good shape. The pools are not that great, resturants are Ok. Nothing special about. The location is not the best if you are looking for shopping and fun outside the resort.

Stayed here again over Aidilfitri last month. This time booked the ground floor rooms (west wing of the hotel). The room was a bit tired with some faulty issues but it was spacious enough for our family. Management need to do something about the rooms ASAP. Kids had fun the pool and beach area. Nothing special there. Breakfast was not... More

Stayed here for 1 night for business. It's the best hotel in Kuala Terengganu...it has lots of potential but due to the ups and downs of tourism industry there, I'm not surprised that the management is unable to do a total refurbishment to the entire place. The beach is just in front of the hotel and looks clean from a... More

Hotel room was ok. Consider clean & tidy. Shower area is a kinda small for such a big bathroom. The restaurant food prices seems has been increased quite high. A normal nasi goreng kampung with fried chicken & satay costs RM30. I remembered i had their buffet dinner back in year 2012 for less than RM40. Maintenence wise considered ok... More
