Stayed here for 1 night for business. It's the best hotel in Kuala Terengganu...it has lots of potential but due to the ups and downs of tourism industry there, I'm not surprised that the management is unable to do a total refurbishment to the entire place. The beach is just in front of the hotel and looks clean from a... More

Hotel room was ok. Consider clean & tidy. Shower area is a kinda small for such a big bathroom. The restaurant food prices seems has been increased quite high. A normal nasi goreng kampung with fried chicken & satay costs RM30. I remembered i had their buffet dinner back in year 2012 for less than RM40. Maintenence wise considered ok... More

The only good thing about this hotel is location, location, location. Rooms are clean but with faulty shower, air cond, toilet doesn't flush well. Bed is very hard almost caused me severe back pain. Trainees at the reception very rude. When complained about the room to the manager in charge, its like talking to wall. Breakfast is lousy with flies and... More

Pros: 1. Location wise is good. Facing Batu Burok Beach and plenty of walking distance restaurant (KFC, A&W, Thai food and local food). 2. Nearby to Kuala Terengganu town centre 3. Good choice of breakfast buffet Cons: 1. Hotel is quite old, maybe its time to refurbish. 2. Rooms - Some TV channels is not working 3. Wifi in rooms.... More

It was a somewhat strange experience. Large hotel with almost no people it seemed. Rooms where clean and alright. We asked for connecting rooms and got that. Rooms and pool was clean but need to be renovated. The hotel is about 1 km outside city center so you must either drive og get a taxi. If you need to stopover... More

Sitting writing from the hard uncomfortable bed in my room at Primula. Here for just a night with husband and children. It has not been a happy past few hours. Lift, carpets, doors, wardrobe upon entering room...whole room itself was like walking into a nightmare. The last time I was here was 21 years ago for a royal wedding and... More

We stopped off at the Primula for one night on our way to Pulau Redang. We wished we had flown earlier to Kuala Terengganu in order to catch a ferry to Redang and skip the night in the Primula. The staff were pleasant, the location (right on the beach) was nice and the buffet breakfast was okay but that just... More

The stay at the hotel was rather pleasant, however a few days after we checked out my partner received a text from an unknown number saying that he bumped into her while having breakfast in Primula hotel. This came as a shock to us as we did not disclose our phone numbers for anything throughout the whole stay except when... More

Just checked into this hotel couple of hours ago. It is near town, just 5min from China Town. So access to eating places would not be a problem. The hotel is aged but I would say the maintenance is still not bad. I stay in the deluxe room with an extra bed. Room size is just average but was kept... More

I have been to this hotel twice, and both times it gave me a good impression. Indeed the hotel is a bit old and I can see that it used to be the swankiest hotel in Kuala Terengganu back in the days. Yet despite that, it is very clean and I can see how the staff tries their best to... More
