Stayed 1 night in this hotel for work. The rooms look very pretty in photos and when you walk in unfortunately that's where all the bad things start. I stayed in a Deluxe Twin room, bed linens & pillow case had stains all over. Carpet looks like it hasn't been vacuum-ed in years, there were dust bunnies under the bed... More

Booked our first night here traveling to Perhentian Islands. We were looking for an budget hotel in the centre and found midtown. Both of these options are completely true, but our room was more budget then we expected. The worst thing was that the aircon in our room was directly pointed at our bed, which was really uncomfortable. Because it... More

stayed one night on way to Redang. Sceptical at first from the other reviews. Surprised, the room looked new and clean, spacious, smelt alright, must be newly refurbished. Location in centre of town, short drive to jetty. Recommended, good value for price. Breakfast provided, kinda pathetic though, bread and butter, maybe nasi lemak would be more appreciated! but that's my... More

Hotel rooms were excellent in size, clean and nearly new looking. The one downside was the smell of cigarette smoke in the rooms. The hotel is situated in a short walking distance from the jetty for the ferry to Puala Redang. It's also close to a wide variety of shops, all with helpful staff. Breakfast was freshly prepared, and good.... More

Convenient location, because all attractions of the city are within walking distance. Rooms are really basic, as noted in other comments. Wi-fi available, hot water available. Reception people kind. Breakfast better than in other higher level hotels. Ok to stop over for just one night in K.Terengganu.

Stayed in this hotel for one night stopover before going to Redang Island. I must say even though it provides basic necessities for sleeping, you must really be able to take in the dirtyness and rundown amenities. The toilets are super filthy with taps that are hard to close. There are all kind of stains on the floor. Cleanliness is thoroughly... More

The fact that this hotel was launched in 1998,surely you could say it is really old.As earlier,i dont expect much as i've read the reviews from guests who stayed at this hotel.Unfortunately,it was not that bad.Come on,i still got wifi and the hot shower is still working. The aircond also is fine.Perhaps the room and bathroom both looked old and not... We decide to make a reservation looking a lonely planet, in order to plan (using web) our trip around the Redang Island. We booked before the room in internet. When arrived no one tall us about working in progress during the day. We suffered because a jet leg. Also no internet connection. Never again!!!!

HORRIBLE. NEVER EVER stay at this place. Extremely dirty musty rooms with bed bugs. Staff are clueless about the concept of cleanliness. Extremely over priced for the state it is in. Rm 108 for a twin sharing. It was really a traumatic experience staying here especially since we had kids and we were so concerned about the cleanliness. We hardly... More

Considering it was 108 a night this is a really bad hotel ... Staff do speak English , location is good and the restaurant is basic but food is nice enough.... but the room is just nasty and there is no wifi...this is a last resort place to stay like if you don't book ahead at Chinese New Year like...
