We went there because we had to stay a night in KL and it was the only one recommended in the lonely planet. We didn't really have wifi the days before so we couldn't check out any other hostels. It is really cheap to stay there (40 RM for a 3 bed room), but it's not very nice. No wifi,... More

It is located about 5mins away from the bus station, and about 10mins walk to market, including the waterfront and cina town. The location wise kind of strategic, the room is very basic and quite. Suitable for those who like to climb, there is a staircase, I did enjoy climb up especially to the roof-top for laundry, rest and some... More

No wifi, no books, no tv, no anemities. staff not well informed and not really set up fpr westerners. Food and shops nearby and only 5 minute walk to bus station. A few cheapeies in the room departemnet, but the fans didnt woprk well and was very warm and muggy at nite. Moquitoes, not many but enough to be annoying.... More

Being a traveller, I am used to basic accommodation. This wasn't exactly 'basic' but more gross. Maybe if the staff were nice I would feel happier about handing my money to them. I could probably deal with it being the way it was for RM12 a night. The bedroom was like a prison cell, damp along the walls and floor,... More

We stayed in this place for one night and I can say it's the worst hotel I've been to in Malaysia. The rooms are spacious but they smell horrible, the beds are very bad, our shower didn't work (and the reception closes just after we arrived), no towels, no toilet paper, dirty bathroom and the worst of all: bed bugs!

We rocked up here at about 7pm to find the place completely locked up. We looked around for another budget option but really struggled, getting quoted 80 RM plus. Finally we managed to squeeze into a room with a German couple we met and hit up Ping the next morning. We got a small fan only room (fan was rubbish)... More

Unfortunately I couln't get into the Triple 8 guest house opposite the market so this was the second choice. No 25 Ringit rooms available so had to pay 38 and then move the next day to the cheaper room which I fully understand and they were very pleasant about the whole thing. The report in Lonely/Lazy Planet is completely wrong... More

I paid 40 ringgit for v large fan room ( could have slept 3 as extra bed), and it was fine. Clean sheets, separate bathroom (fine). A towel would have been nice, as would a smile from the dour faced man in ping anchorage agency. You can't have everything! Restaurant on roof is simple but good- lovely girl who works... More

The most terrible Guesthouse I've stayed in my 20 days trip in Malaysia! No one cleaned the room even I asked twice. What I needed was to change the sheet others slept before! They only have a great-look travel agency. They only care about that. This inn is only attachment. You cannot find any staff after they close. No wifi no... More

The rooms are spacious and fairly clean if rather bland, but at 35RM they are pretty good value. I walked around several budget hotels in KT all of which were over-priced until i decided to come to this location. Primarily for backpackers the rooms are shared toilets. This was fairly clean but the showers were little more than a trickle... More
