We had to stay overnight due to flight delays from MAlaysian airlines. When a bus load of 40 passengers arrived, at 115am, they only had 1 staff member checking in, although there were 3 others around the reception desk. They other staff, the so called manager said he could not do check in as well as MAS wanted the names... More

Our Malaysia Airlines flight out of Heathrow was delayed for several hours & we missed our onward connecting flight to Perth just before Christmas. Consequently the airline put us all up at the Empress for the few hours before our rescheduled flight left KL . When the reception area doesn't look good you do start to wonder about the condition... Due to flight complications our airline booked my husband & I in this hotel overnight. The reception did their best at 2.00am in the morning as we had a bus load of people. The room was old, dingy & stunk of cigarettes. The bed was hard as wood & so were the pillows. We couldn't even switch the entry light... More

Driver from the hotel was hired to pick me up at the KUL airport and had to be called twice making my wait between clearing customers and arriving at the hotel 2 hours. Hotel was in a horrible area and calling it a dump is being kind. Would sleep about anywhere besides here again. Breakfast was equally as dreadful. Couldn't... More

I do not understand how people who travel on Airasia for 3 dollars can then complain because they are put up in an hotel that is not 5 star... Since i came here by choice I have to say that this hotel did not fault me once during my stay of 5 nights. staff were very polite and helpful breakfast... More

I was actually staying at this hotel in 2012, yes its been long time ago to write, nowadays not sure but from those review and told by friends who is staying there now, there is not change. Yes you may carry your own luggage to the room, as the staff seems to busy with their job lol. Lobby was far... More

Placed here by airline service because my flight had been cancelled. This place has one of the worst service ive ever been to. Got there and we had to put our own luggage onto the trolley and roll it in, no bellman to help at all, asked for a 6am wake up call, lucky i made my own alarm because... More

Delayed out of Heathrow and missed the connection to Hanoi by 7 hours so had to overnight here. We weren't the only ones, it appears that the majority of this hotels' business is via Malaysia Airlines and Air Asia delayed flights. The room was adequate for the few hours we spent there. Food was so so, a buffet for dinner... More

We stayed at this hotel overnight as we had a flight to catch the next morning. Check in went well and so was the customer service at the front desk. The room was vey clean and so was the bathroom, we did have a good nights sleep. However the whole place has seen better days and needs to be refurbished.... More

This is the third time I have stayed here in two years. It is tired, needs a major overhaul. No hot water, rooms small, hard to find power outlets, very little in way of room supplies. Staff at front desk and in dining room were great and very helpful. If we come back to KL again and have to stay... More
