We stayed at this hotel overnight as we had a flight to catch the next morning. Check in went well and so was the customer service at the front desk. The room was vey clean and so was the bathroom, we did have a good nights sleep. However the whole place has seen better days and needs to be refurbished.... More

This is the third time I have stayed here in two years. It is tired, needs a major overhaul. No hot water, rooms small, hard to find power outlets, very little in way of room supplies. Staff at front desk and in dining room were great and very helpful. If we come back to KL again and have to stay... More

Only good for those expecting clean bed sheets and a good shower. No proper food outlets surrounding the hotel. Not a place to stay for those wanting to shop. Don't expect good service. The only people you can communicate with are those at the front desk.

Every year we return to the Empress on the Motogp weekend. Yes its no five starr hotel but for what we want its great. The front desk girls are all very friendly and helpful. Yes the hotel lacks in a few areas but the rooms are allways clean, the beds are comfortable (alot of beds in asia are so hard)... More

Malaysia airlines cancelled my flight and put me up for 12 hours in this wondrous place. Strange choice of hotel for Malaysia airlines to place customers that should be valued customers especially when they are already cranky over a cancelled flight. It's a good 30minute cab to this place when there are hotels much closer. The rational for the choice... More

i not understand what is the problem with this hotel management. What thier thinking when they join in hospitality business. Hotel management must consider to implement business process re-engineering. Start with counter service where most important as a frontliners. there are just so not friendly. Lobby decoration not attracting and just tasteless. Room furniture outdated with nostalgic television set. very... More

I was stuck in Kuala Lumpur after the MH17 tragedy and Malaysian Airlines put me up here for a few hours. I know it was a difficult situation and they were probably limited where they could put 12 stranded passengers in the middle of the night, but this place was disgusting. The room was dirty and covered in stains, the... More

Malaysian airlines put me here after flights were changed and I was forced to spend an overnight in KL. 20 minutes from the airport. The only positive I found about it was the dinner buffet and even then I could have passed. The room lacked any place to charge anything, in fact I had to unplug the tv in order... More
