We stayed here 1 night before our flight the next morning. James was very accommodating and nice. The room was lovely and well decorated and the pool was very clean and relaxing. Even though it is a great option for an airport hotel, we would actually stay there again if we come back to KL. This is partly due to... More

We only had one night here before our flight the following day. James was very accommodating and even cooked roti bread in the morning for us when I told him the best one I had was at the old airport in an indian restaurant. The room was cosy and comfortable, but it wasn't as close to the airport as suggested.... More

Close to airport (cost about £6 for a taxi). Lovely B&B with pool. Guest rooms separate to living accommodation so doesn't feel like you're in someone's home too much. Rooms are spacious. Bathroom and shower lovely, toiletries included. Beds comfortable. A couple of minutes walk away are some nice cafés, supermarket and food market. Would definitely recommend Rumah Putih.

Stayed in Rumah Putih twice, and both times it was perfect. It is easily accessible by Transit train - 1 stop from KLIA1 (costs 3.20 MYR). James, the owner, picked me up from the station. The neighbourhood is very quiet, with a strip of shops and local eateries within 5 min walk from the place. The owners, James and Jo,... More

Layovers are a hassle, and it was wonderful to find a place that actually made the time pleasant and feel more like vacation than an unavoidable delay. The room was large, spotless and very comfortable. It had a small table and chairs on a little private patio area (tho not all rooms offer this). The shower was very good. There... More

Just 15 minutes from the airport and by train 30 minutes to Kuala Lumpur. For those who like it quiet and very clean. Vers reasonable price and a good value breakfast. We liked it very much. Just good as an arrival place or before departure. Friendly people and helpful. Its normal to take of the shoes before entering a house.

Dear Mohissa, Happy New Year and many thanks for taking the time to write a review. You are absolutely right, taking shoes off or exchanging shoes for indoor slippers when entering houses and some shops & offices is expected in this part of the world and it certainly helps to keep things clean & tidy. We're glad you enjoyed your... More

I have stayed in various places around the KL airport area over the years, but found Rumah Putih the best of the lot. I chose this place for its proximity to the international airport, as I had an early flight the next morning - there are good train connections from T1 and T2 to the local railway station, where James... Stayed with our 2 boys as a quick stopover option near kl airport - was so comfy, clean and sweet and 5 min walk to village restaurants. We lost a passport at airport and with James' help we found it that night. Swam in pool after great breakfast before flying out again - totally cruisey.

This is a lovely KL option. We enjoyed a large comfortable room and bathroom in a beautiful home with high ceilings and pleasant pool area. This is a great way to avoid the large, un personal, high rise options of KL and enjoy some friendly and helpful hospitality from James and Jo. With great train links to both KL terminals... More

With a recent 14 hour layover in KLIA and based on other TA reviews we opted for this B&B over the Airport offerings and were very glad we did. A warm welcome and the local 'nightlife' (there's a local market within walking distance with great street food) made the layover something to remember rather than a travel hassle. The facilities... Hi SandM5859, Many thanks for taking the time to write a review, the main night market is on a Saturday night and has some excellent local juices, street snacks, fresh fruit and veg etc. It's a great way to join in local life during a stopover if you are here on the weekend. There is also a permanent market square... More
