For the amount I paid for, the room is just right. Everything is pretty basic, which is a good thing if you're going to be out the entire time. The best part about Ryokan Chic is its location. There are several restaurants surrounding the place, and even a 24hour one right by the end of the street. There's also a... More

What can I say - for US$40/night, what you get is a clean room in a decent location with lots of food options. Pros - Near to shopping malls - the Curve and 1Utama - Good and clean streetfood around the corner - Relatively safe area (but, hey, this is KL, so be careful anyway!) - Clean rooms Cons -... More

I was surprised by the murals once i entered to the hotel. The draws are just nice and special! Helpful staffs are ready to help travelers to top-up car park fees (T&C applied). The bed are some sort like Japanese style. Attached bathroom, TV and well function air-cond. Last but not least, they provide a safety box too.

Book this hotel if you need an affordable private room when you travel alone. Lone Ranger room is a small room equipped with a comfortable bed, big TV and 5 stars shower. I felt safe at the hotel compound. It is a good value small hotel.

Overall is for young traveller want to have a night to crash, not very suitable for family trip. Pro: 1) many food choices around, within walking distance 2) One utama, the curve is 10 mins drive away Con: 1) no lift. 2) sometime the air-cond has weird sound. 3) construction is at the opposite 4) size of the room is... Overall the 5day stay this place was tolerable. Staff are reasonably helpful and the location of this hotel is a big plus point for getting taxis, budget eatouts and getting to 1Utama. Double bed room was clean and tidy, airconditioning works well, and not having windows can be viewed as an added security. Paint was peeling off on the walls... More

I often come to Malaysia for climbing vacation. There is a big climbing gym called Camp5 in One Utama shopping mall. So I always stay in Ryokan hotel because it is close to the gym (5-6 RM for one way with taxi meter). The hotel is clean and has no bad smell. The internet is fast enough for watching the... More

We had a lovely stay at Ryokan, and would go back in a heartbeat. The staff were incredibly helpful and kind, and provided luggage storage when we booked our room for the evening, even though we could not check in until later in the afternoon. The dorms were very clean, as were the shared bathrooms and showers. Laundry service is... More

I booked Ryokan suites to attend my Graduation Caremony somewhere in Damansara area, easily found by taxi driver, very good interior, friendly staff. The room is small but very well managed, single bed with small working desk, very powerful aircon, attached bathroom with shower (no water problem). The only problem is the light in bathroom is too small so it's like... More
