1. Location quite okay... walking distance to waterfront 2. Food available downstairs 3. Night time noisy because of the pub/club 4. Clear and friendly environment 5. Lots of exercise (lots staircase)

Th hotel itself appears nice and well set up. The rooms are moldy and the air condition doesn't cool very well. And then there is no wifi in the rooms. We were willing to overlook all of these inconveniences as we are seasoned travellers, but then the bars kicked off. Music was pumping until 3 am on a week night.... More

My sister and I stayed at the Rafflesia in May this year for a week. When we arrived the receptionist greeted me by name and we were able to check in to the room early. To have air-con and a private bathroom for the rate charged was amazing. We were very grateful to be looked after extremely well by the... More

As far as value for money goes, I am struggling to think of a better place I have stayed in anywhere in the world. At a cost more or less the same as a private room in a hostel, you can stay in a private room at the Rafflesia Inn and have your own bathroom, TV and AC. If you... More

The hotel is located in the same block as a karaokee which ends at 2:30am at week ends. If you need a good sleep before an expediction to the jungle or a city visit, this is definitely not the good place to stay. Moreover the receptionist was unable to advise us anything to do in the area.

Love their great service! Great budget for your stay @ Kuching! Everywhere, foods & shopping & waterfront walk is around near the hotel. Great Service at counter! Their Staffs are very friendly. They gave us a lot of information for our walks. We even booked Bako National Park Trek with Chris as our guide! Chris is even a excellent guide... More

It was good that I gave Rafflesia another try after returning from Sabah enroute to Singapore. My otherwise excellent stay a month ago was marred by the incessant tremors and loud noise from the Indo Pub below, way into the wee hours. It was a shame as the Inn was a kind of restfull 'Oasis tucked in a cul de... More

Second time I stayed at this inn. Its amazing when I could sleep soundly on this trip. The pub beneath the inn was gone. I asked the friendly receptionist and he told me that its more quite now sincw the pub moved out in april. Honestly. I feel calm and relaxed since I could sleep better now. Nice job rafflesia
