It was an amazing stay! Moi is the perfect host and I felt like home. house is lovely decorated and old wooden floors well maintained. Everything is clean. Rooftop terrace overlooks Chinatown! She also recommended a very good tour and always made sure I had all I need. The cafe downstairs has good coffee and sweet bread in the morning.... More

We were not disappointed. Location was central for food, major amenities (medical care, laundry) and public transport (RM1/- by air conditioned bus to town centre). Premises were squeaky clean (rooms, shared toilets); it was like living with the family in quarters above the coffee shop that they ran. Their shop served a variety of local food throughout the day. The... More

Our original plan was to stay 3 nights, but ended up staying 7. Moi is amazing, so welcoming and helpful. The rooms are spotlessly clean, as are the shared bathrooms. There is tea, coffee and water available at all times, along with bananas and crackers. There is a lounge area with a TV and a good selection of DVD's to... More

Traveller homestay is a welcoming little guesthouse. The rooms are comfortable and very clean, as is the bathroom and shared areas (which are also cool and quirky-with the walls covered in old pictures)! Free coffee, tea, biscuits and some fruit all day and a good breakfast of toast and eggs. But the best part is Moi the owner. Moi is... More

We've been guests at the "Travellers" for 5 nights and we really loved it. "Moi" was always there to help, if we had questions or if we needed something else. She knows a lot and also gave us helpful things like a busplan, maps and a what-to-do list, when we arrived. Drinking water, crackers, bananas, coffee and tea are included... More

You can't go past this homely guesthouse for approx. $20 a night. It stands right beside the great cat of Kuching. The decor and cleanliness are top class and Moi is so caring and friendly. She even went to the airport in her own time to check on our lost baggage. We were so grateful. The breakfast downstairs is delicious... More

We just got back from spending two nights at Traveller Homestay. It is a very unique guesthouse and the furnishings are beautiful and comfortable- you can see that the owner Moi has taken great care and interest in running an excellent guesthouse. It is very clean, there is a common area with DVD's and a laptop to use and also... More

Having stayed for 3 nights at Traveller Homestay I cannot recommend it more highly. The whole hostel is clean, comfortable and homely. It is the perfect place to stay when in Kuching. Moi, thank you so much for your hospitality and for going out of your way to make us feel at home and show us the delights of Kuching,... More

We spent 3 nights at the Traveller's Homestay and from the outset Moi gave us maps to help us navigate Kuching and made us feel at home. The homestay is only 15minutes from the waterfront and in the heart of chinatown. She provides tea and coffee, biscuits and a comfortable, clean and homely environment. She is truly the most welcoming and marvelous... More
