I stayed there with my family and it seems ok with the price offered. Quite convenient, food was okay and swimming pool might need to be bigger a bit for kids. The hotel will be great once more if they do some major renovation.

This hotel had once been grand - I am sure. It is now sadly neglected and after being initially impressed with the foyer our room was very upsetting indeed. The hotel is well located, inexpensive and the staff are friendly. However - very small room, lumpy bed, minimal bathroom facilities (no hand towel!) and VERY small, no fridge, poor internet... I stayed this hotel for business. The room is clean and the bed is comfy, but it is outdated. The switch panel was partially broken and I had hard time to turn off light and AC. The bathroom has minimum amenities. The hotel facilities also looked tired. The location is not far from town center and was ok. I may choose... More

Prompt check in upon arrival. Hotel lobby looks promising. Booked into an executive room with view towards the open field at the round about. View from the window could have been better if window was properly cleaned. The room facility was a bit run down but overall ok for a few days stop by in Kuching. Buffet breakfast was above... More

2pm check in but still need to wait 30 minutes for the rood ready. Room come with 2 buffet breakfast, child pay RM11/person. Swimming pool for kids is too small, it's a circle size. Sauna and Steam room is under maintenance. Hotel look very old, it's time to do some renovation. Location near to Plaza Merdeka for shopping and walking... More

My room was average in size with small windows looking towards parking lot. The room was a bit dated but clean and the bed provided me with a good sleep. The staff was helpful and nice. The WiFi was chargeable add on. Situated just across Padang Merdeka, this hotel is just a few minutes walk from Merdeka Plaza and Sarawak... More

The photos says it all (only in the website though) when I entered the room - homaigawd...so different looking! Seriously, where has the past glamour and photos that look magnificent gone to? holidays? The management really needs to refurbish the whole hotel rooms. If they are currently doing it, that's good. toilet was leaking water - not well-built-in shower areas

The hotel is located strategically in the city center, next to the muzeum and shopping mall. The hospitality was good albeit the breakfast spread is definitely not a 4 star quality. The staff was kind and helpful. The pool was OK sufficient for my kids and nephews to get their skin tanned :)

Beautiful lobby but the room is so old. The bed, bed lining, tv, lamp and bathroom. Everything looks old and felt creepy. On the other side, the customer service was very good. The breakfast and lunch were delicious. Still a nice place to stay.

I'm giving this 3 stars, which is considered generous enough for this hotel, because of the exceptional quality service of the employees --- incredibly cordial, friendly, professional --- all of them, from the receptionists and restaurant staff to the guards and porters --- and thankfully they were very accommodating. Because the rooms were mostly horribly maintained, run-down, moldy, smelly, plumbing... More
