The service was awful matched by sub-standard rooms. Knowing that our flight into Kuching was scheduled to arrive late (10pm), I called the hotel the day before to a) confirm our arrival and b) confirm that our room would have two beds. They advised me that yes, yes, everything was OK, but they would be charging me the first night.... more

All you need to know is that this is one grimey hotel. The carpets are stained and worn. The furniture is cheap and scratched. The bathrooms are pinkish brown with horribly loud plumbing. We stayed for 2 nights in Holiday Inn Kuching. The rooms were very ordinairy for the price. The double bed was quite small. Breakfast was fine and the hotel well located. The place needs a good refurbishment to demand the prices that it does. more
