Abell Hotel is well situated in the centre of Kuching. I arrived quite late after a longer than expected journey from Bali. The standard room I was given was fine but there was an incredibly strong smell of curry both inside and in the corridor around. I wouldn't normally complain about something like that but it really was so strong... More

Abell Hotel is just a nice hotel to stay and nearby to Kuching Waterfront and also surrounding many cafes for you to find a local food. For me is worth for paying RM100 for the room and fully recommended.

We booked four rooms all without windows. Room was small but clean. The only complaint is the bathroom. The first night our bathroom was full of water when we had our shower,we had to call reception to mop up. Subsequently we had to be very careful, positioning the shower head towards the wall in order for the water not to splashed... More

Abell Hotel is located just 3 minutes walk to the Kuching Waterfront. Many restaurants and cafes in the surrounding area and Maybank right opposite the hotel. Kuching landmark, the roundabout with statues of cats, is less than a minute walk. Our room cost us RM100/night, spacious and clean. Perfect stay when you in Kuching.

Abell is a lovely, reasonably priced hotel in a great location. It's within easy walking distance of Chinatown, the riverside and the city center. Rooms are very clean with comfortable beds and great showers. The staff were really helpful and friendly during our stay; helping us organise trips and advising us on where to go etc. We didn't have breakfast... More

This hotel is just in the city center of Kuching. Chinatown is just 2min walking distance, water promenade can be reached by 10min walking. Room was quite small. The carpet hat a lot of stains and the room was a bit dusty. Could all be cleaner. Wifi available and working good. We booked 2 tours through the hotel and had... More

Staff are friendly and helpful. Very good location. Just round the back, you may walk to all the yummy eateries. No problem if you are looking for local breakfast in the morning. Standard rooms are relatively small, simple but clean.

Location is really good. Most places are just walking distance. We took 2 rooms for the weekend stay, managed to get rooms side by side. Size wise is also great. Bed & Pillows are veryyyyy comfy. Although wifi connections are a bit problematic. Water pressure is alright. Cleanliness of the room is also good. If you intend to have some... More
